Most awkward/weird/funny attire you've worn

What have been some of the most unusual or hilarious clothing combinations you have had to wear in your life? One day, me and my dad went to the zoo for a trip. However, before we could go on, my mom got worried because it was cold. And indeed, it was. While it was fine for me to go with a hoody jacket, she got carried away and I ended up wearing a weird mix between a sweater, a jacket, a cap, a scarf and really thick pants. While it seemed normal, none of the clothes were of the same color scheme and thus created a strange effect.

This one time I decided to take part in Halloween I decided to dress up like barbie. I had see through tape all along my legs and arms to give off the impression I was plastic. Then I had all the very girly pink accessories to go with the outfit, I'll never degrade myself like that again. I have a sore head just thinking about it, god that was embarrassing.

Think the most awkward thing I wore was a batman cape with a cyan dress. The only thing was, this was at a wedding. I forgot about putting on the cape and left it on for the entire event. Makes me cringe when I think about it. x3

There was a dress code for girls to wear dresses and heels for their high school graduation from the school that I graduated from.  It felt sooo awkward wearing that dress and ruined the moment for me.

For Halloween one year when I was little (but not that little), I dressed as a bright green dinosaur, complete with tail and obnoxiously large and cartoony mask. Gives me shivers just thinking about it. I looked like a furry.

Pony swag

I crossdressed once or twice prior to coming out as a transgendered person, and man were things awkward. I kind of passed both times, but not really, so I got a lot of weird stares. Also the stuff I had to use to accentuate my figure appropriately was all uncomfortable and dug into the skin hard.

Wizard robe + beagle puss glasses ... barefoot

(just a normal day at the park)

EDIT: I also wore a cardboard box that covered my entire body, no decoration, design, or anything ... it was my Halloween costume

Before I had blue hair, I had green hair, and they messed it up really badly the first time so it was this horrible vomit colour. I had to get it stripped and redone.

For over a year when i was younger i insisted on wearing a leather jacket that was clearly too small for me.... constantly.

Most recently, about a year ago while i still had long hair i decided to have it dyed blue, i went swimming whilst drunk at my dad's stag do, it turned it a greenish colour, so i ended up attending his wedding in full wedding attire but with long green hair, i got many strange looks for that.  :mustache:

I decided to wear a bright pink hat to school one day for whatever reason. I hate the colour pink and the hat had barbies on it. I think I had something wrong with my thought-process when I thought that was a good idea.

On Red Nose Day, everyone at my school was told that we had to bring in something red to wear. Some people brought in hats, scarves, wrist bands and stuff like that

I brought in a freaking Spider Man mask XD

Back in middle school I wore my inflatable sumo costume to the store across the street.

They said "laundry day?" And I told them "yes, I'm naked under this." My mom was like oh nooo amber- and I've never seen it since.

And I remember on one of our schools crazy day event we did every year in high school, I duct taped a looot of stuffed animals all over me, lol, I couldn't sit and had to take half of them off.

I boldfaced heels because I wanted to point out that that is barbaric.  I'm not going to get into other dress code stuff, but high heels are not exactly an erganomic or healthy choice, and some people aren't even capable of wearing them without pain and risk of inury.  Requiring this is inhuman.  (Of course, maybe what you're referring to is really quite benign.  I'm picturing stilettos.  :/)

I wore pony shirts...

Never again.

How come?  What happened?

To answer the original question--I guess it's silly to ask me because I wear all sorts of crazy costume type stuff all the time.  That's just how I dress.  I guess the most outlandish, by "normal" societal standards, would be my elven princess dress.

I went to a fancy restaurant for a family meal. In flip flops and shorts and ... A pony shirt. Everyone else dressed up Oh gosh that was goddamn hilarious. 10/10 would do again. I got served too and I got scorned looks all over.

I wore the D.

It was kindergarten, and we were doing a little presentation on the alphabet. I was D. Mom went all-out making sure I was the prettiest D that ever D'd. One could say I was... Dashing. Definitely Dapper.  :D

There was also that Halloween that I wore an inflatable plumber suit. Got more candy that year than any other.

There are different types of heels besides stilettos.  Besides, I think they mainly required girls to be elevated off the ground, if that makes sense?  So most girls wore wedges, some actually did wear stilettos.  Don't know why they'd do that, must be hard walking with stilettos through the stadium turf.

I often wear a petticoat skirt with my clothes. I like being unique. However, I need to get a new one because my current one is getting pretty ruined and old. The only problem is, I got it during halloween... and I don't know if I can get it again this year. I also wear those animal hats a lot, and some people tend to stare at me.

I'm just the type of person that looks to stand out. *shrug*

When I was in fifth grade, I begged my mom to order me a hoodie with an enlarged photo of myself and my former cat. I chose the absolute worst photo possible, sent it in, and when I received it, I wore the hoodie to school for about a week straight. Regret it every day. It really is worse than it sounds. *shivers*

Oh boy. Woke up one fateful morn in nothing but my pyjamas (consisted of a green check shirt and blue pants) and noticed slept through 2 alarms and was running late to my lecture. Funnily enough, I got complimented for my shirt that day. To this day, I will never know if it was a sincere compliment.

It wouldn't be the first time I've been in public wearing my pyjamas.

...Or the 5th..

I've also been seen wearing a polar bear suit down the street. Nobody knew it was me, I said I'd wear it as a dare. I felt so embarrassed but interestingly enough I had a lot of positive comments.
