technical issue Copying URL pictures to your profile

I am trying to add a few more pictures and gifs to my profile. However, they don't show up and turn into either text or links. Is there a limit to how many pictures you can have on your profile (I also put the pics into spoilers)?

I think You can add only 10 hotlinked pics into your profile you can get more images to show up if you upload them into the site and add them via my media option

That would probably work and what you say makes sense. However, I am afraid that it will not work with gifs :/. Oh well. Thank you, I will try that out .

if the image dimensions are bigger than the attachment thumbnail dimensions the gif wont work

 

attachment thumbnail dimensions are 600px in width not 100% sure about the height because my photos have more width so the height adjusts based on that

No, I mean I can not save gifs to my computer and then post them as files here on the forums, so that they get added to my "media".
