Dealing with haters.

Kill them with kindness. Nothing gets their goats more.

But really, that's about the only online strategy I've found that works unless you get some really level-headed people who are willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt.

Real life? Or online?

Online, I just ignore it, or leave a happy reply telling them to have a nice day.

Real life, almost the same thing (unless it's someone related to me)

then I rag on them for something they like that could be considered "gay".

Just happened to me a while ago, my older brother called me gay for liking it, so I said something about his son making bracelets. We all laughed :D

I dont know.

My experience so far was on a Pewdiepie Video. I asked something, and someone answered that i just would be a stupid Brony and that they known for not knowing anything.

But the comment was marked as spam and disliked, so before i even got a chance to respond, the comment was deleted.

Either Pewdiepie did it, or his fans.

And most other so called " Antibronys " i met, are often like : " As long as you arent a rabid Brony, were okay with you . "

I never really got hate. I once got a lot of hate because i defended someone for being a brony, and i got in a discussion with his haters, calling my life worthless, that i would be nothing more like an attention seeker, i would be a pedophile , and so on.

That might sound bad, but i didnt know, that the person i defended, was actually a Troll himself and did many bad things, like insulting others for not liking mlp, and posting comments at disgusting videos on an older channel of him.

I didnt know that, so i just deleted my comments in the discussion and renamed myself, before someone thought i would be part of that.

And now, i mostly ignore all the comment wars on the net, since most of them are trolls either way.

Giggle furiously to myself as they are subsequently torn apart by infected in Left 4 Dead 2 after they gang up and kill the brony in the group. That game gets f-ing hard once you only have three people.

How to deal with haters online: Ignore them. They're trolls who are just trying to get under your skin.

How to deal with haters in real life: Again, ignore them... unless they get physical, that is, then go apeshit on them.

Haters are people too- shouty people who don't always do logic, but people all the same. I've made friends with a few self-proclaimed haters via other shared interests, although haters calm enough to listen are rare.

The best way to deal with a bully is to be unoffended and to let them see that you don't give a flying banana. It makes them 100x madder, but you've won.

I don't usually have any haters. Everyone knows damn well I'm a 22 year old who likes Disney junior and the occasional sippy cup, it's common knowledge round heyah. People look at me like I'm weird, or poke fun sometimes for things I like but that's about it on my part.

I gotta admit it, once thins guy just exploded in the comments and I replied "Dude, it's just a kids show, calm the f**k down." XD (You know but without the censoring. :P)

Oh and also I went to a hate video and corrected a lot of his Grammer and stuff. XD

Don't acknowledge them. The fact that this thread exists kinda goes against that rule as a whole, but you're not gonna get anything out of negative interactions with people who feel like whining about you so the best thing to do is completely ignore the fact that they exist.

I don't take notice of them. I really couldn't care less if they don't like the show or the fandom. If they have to go out of their way to insult people because they watch a cartoon show, then it makes me think that they have some insecurities of their own and they're trying to hide them by bullying someone. They just try to pick on bronies because they seem like easy targets.

Quite sad, really, if that brony isn't doing anything wrong and they're just doing it because he/she is a brony and for nothing else.

If it's just some whiners online, ignore em'. They can't do anything and they know it. Also, their hate is usually irrational and unfounded so debating them is a waste of time as logic doesn't apply to them.

If the problem is someone bullying you in real life, either deal with the problem yourself (whether physically or indirectly taking care of business) if you can or acquire help from someone - some of these cases end in poor taste.

I seen haters leave comments on my Steam page, but I deleted them long ago after I screenshot their post and reported it. What the haters don't know is that they mostly at fault for the reason something they hate is happening.

Like me I join the herd when haters does nothing but complain about bronies. It because of them along with getting sick and tired of seeing any forums I go to, I put my free time up to see some clips of MLP, and slowly loving MLP more. Overall I say just ignore the haters and report them if they went too far like personal attacks.

I wouldn't really have any methods to dealing with them :/

I mean, what they say will bother me for the rest of the day, but then I just try and forget about it and move on with my life like they're moving on with theirs

I don't. People who persistently hate what I like aren't really worth my time and I always just ignore them if anything they say is directed towards me. I have no reason to take what they say into account, because haters generally try to make people who like a certain thing feel bad for what they like, but I don't let it get to me; a quote fits this really well...
