What's better where you live? Summer or winter?

I really like the Winter where I live, it really brings out the beauty of the landscape.

Winter over here, since we're more used to the cold weather i guess, or maybe that's just my preference. I'd happily take extreme cold weather over extreme hot weather any day

The cool thing about living in the DC/Metro area is that we get pretty decent weather all around the year. Our summers aren't too hot (75-95F) and our winters aren't too cold (15-35F). On top of that, our springs and autumns are absolutely gorgeous.

Neither have extreme temperatures here. About 30C (35C in "extreme heat") during summer and average around 15C during midday during the middle of Winter. Although I do prefer the winter for multiple reasons

Traditionally speaking the weather has been pretty mild in my state, however with climate change the summers are hotter and the winters are cooler, if I had to pick I'd say winter, but spring remains my favorite season.

Indiana is kinda weird sometimes when it comes to it's weather. Some years the summers are brutally hot and humid, other times it is just like an extended Spring. Winter, sometimes we get tons of snowstorms and even ice storms and extreme cold, other times, it is just mild throughout. I highly prefer Fall and Winter though. Those are far more comfortable here.

I live in a seaside part of England known as Cornwall, and the summer here is pretty warm, but it's infinitely more humid and horrible, with loads more of our famous rain because it's by the sea.
Winter on the other hand is just bland. Nothing exciting happens, except maybe a brief bit of snow that lasts a grand total of 1 day if it even manages to settle.

I live in Southern California so winters usually aren't that bad, summers on the other hand can vary. They can sometimes not be that bad but there are some other summers like last summer for example where you could probably fry an egg on the sidewalk if you wanted to. This was this one week or so that summer where almost every day was in the high 90's to early 100's, just walking in it for even for mere seconds made me feel like passing out. I used to live in a valley where when it was it was much hotter and when it was cold it was much colder, but with the moderating influence of being closer to the ocean it is not as bad where I am at now.

Well here in the UK when the weather is warm it's normally too hot, when it's cold it's consistently cold (and bearable so), and seeing as I cope much better in winter (as I've pretty much lived in it my whole life) I'd say winter is better.

Winter is easily the best season where I live. The average winter high temperature where I live falls somewhere in the 50s (Fahrenheit)... And by that I mean the highs are usually in the 50s, sometimes above... Sometimes way above. Sometimes way below. But unlike areas up North, the cold weather only comes in waves. The jet stream has to drop below us to push the (modified) arctic air down this far. It happens, but most of the winter you'll see temperatures in the 50s... And if the cold front holds off long enough, they'll shoot up to the 70s, and on a rare occasion the 80s. During the winter.

And people still complain about it. It flurries outside, and you see posts on Facebook "OMG when will it stop snowing? So sick of it. Ugh"

I think you could imagine how much summer sucks if it can hit 80 degrees during the winter. =P It's not the worst it could be, though. I just don't like the heat, and that's all summer is. A big long block of heat.

Winter definitely wins the cake, over here. Can't stand the humidity during summer though. I remember being overjoyed when I came back from my Spain holiday like, five years back, to find it rainy and storming.

There's often a lot of rain during the summer here- though I actually kinda prefer that, I must admit ^^- and never enough snow during winter (when there is snow, it goes away very quickly)... so, I'd say both are kinda disappointing. =/

I live in New York, they're both terrible. Summer is a little too hot for comfort and winter is probably the worst. It's kinda the best for me because we get so many snow days off from school.
