What this guy said.  I don't know if it will be that easy to top Rainbow Rocks, but there's all the potential in the world for this to be really good, and I have no doubt it will top the first Equestria Girls.

Hoping it's as good as the last one at least. Though as far as actual expectations go, I'm just hoping the Shadowbolts are as good as antagonists as the Dazzlings and that RD doesn't get screwed over like in the last 2 movies :/

I'll go into it as optimistically as possible, but ultimately, I don't believe that my opinion towards the Equestria Girls franchise will change. Even without McCarthy writing this one, I imagine that it'll still be filled to the brim with nonsensical contrivance, will once again drag Twilight into a world she doesn't belong while she once again bids her completely useless and unimportant pony friends goodbye, and will once again make me view the humane five as lackluster replacements for them. 

 

At least the music is worth looking forward to, especially considering how much season 5 has been lacking on songs.

The Twilight that we know wil probably not occur in this one. Remember the very first Equestria Girls where Pinkie was saying: "Do you have a twin sister who lives in the city, has a pet dog named Spike that looks juuuust like that one?" And Twi is like "Maybe...?"

 

Turns out there is another Twilight in the Equestria Girls World as well. In this movie there won't be our Twilight, but the other Twilight, who senses something "strange, probably magical", at CHS (Canterlot High School), at least that was what the trailer said. I Think it's going to be amazing. Even better than Rainbow Rocks. Hopefully it has some characters from the pony worlds will finally meet people from the human world.

I feel that It has the potential to be the best, and I hope it is. :grin2:  Honestly though, I tend to take a realist approach towards TV/Films. -_-  Like etting my hopes dashed, by riding the hype train to Manehattan, but instead ending up in "our town" . I hope it will be great, but I'll keep my expectations grounded. That way I'll either be surprised and happy because it exceeds them, but not heart-broken and butthurt, if it didn't.

 

All I want is more Sunset Shimmer, it's my only expectation. Mo' Sunny, Mo' better.
