The Sunset Shimmer we know is from Equestria, and Twilight from the human world (not the one from Equestria, her human counterpart I'm talking about) is gonna have a special appearance in the Friendship Games. But I wonder, will we ever see Sunset Shimmer's human counterpart? What do you guys think?

It didn't, Celestia said that it wasn't a good idea for the Mane 5 to go with Twilight to the human world because things would get weird if they were two of them.

And human Pinkie Pie asked pony Twilight if she had a "twin sister" who lived in the human world (she's talking about Twilight's human counterpart)

 

So yeah, I don't think that seemed to answer my question, but that was a good video though.

There's no real evidence to support that. True, most characters we know have a counterpart, but not all of them. Not to mention, there are many humans at Canterlot High who have no pony counterpart, so logic dictates that there are some ponies who have no human counterpart. I don't think Sunset Shimmer has a human counterpart. But then, I could be wrong; I didn't think Twilight had a human counterpart and look how that turned out.

My personal hope is that Human Sunset Shimmer will be the villain for EQG 4 as I like the idea of Pony Sunset having to face off against what basically amounts to the past version of herself as it would also tie into her cutie mark which seems to have a Yin-Yang symbol in it.  Also I would love if their fight went all DBZ with the two Sunsets glowing red (human version) and yellow (Pony version as well as to make the Super Saiyan connection more obvious) and having a high speed battle.

I assume Human Sunset Shimmer is just somewhere else in the world, probably some kind of prodigy genius, possibly as villainous as her original form in the first movie.
