After watching this from Think Tank, I couldn't agree more (which means I fully I agree with their thoughts).

However, I would like to know what you guys think about this. I'm talking to both genders (male and female).

Do you think it's ok for guys to cry? Please be thoughtful and don't make your answers too shallow (if possible). Because this question can be answered in many ways.

I cry often, I cry when someone yells at me or is being mean. There is nothing wrong in crying society these days has made the crying kinda the  thing that weak do, and of course MEN the strongest of the strong never cry because we are tough like stone and go take out our aggression by commintting violent acts that make no sense whatsoever because, the social pressure that  we are under makes it hard for men to cry and release the stress anger and aggression the way it is supposed to be released

Man and woman share the same emotions. Of course it's okay for a guy to cry.

I also cry from time to time. :(

Yes, absolutely. Crying is not a sign of weakness in my eyes; it is a sign of emotion. It should not be taboo for males to cry. There are many reasons for people, males included, to cry. It isn't limited to being sad, some people cry from joy or other emotions.

In short, yes. Anyone should be able to.

Crying is a great emotional release. If you never cry then all those emotions will be bottled up until you explode or shut down due to stress, and nobody wants that!

I think it's okay for anyone and everyone to cry if they have to or want to. I've cried plenty of times, for reasons from personal things and problems ranging to crying just because I read a story that was really engaging and had a very sad scene (Or at times, a very happy one. Happy tears.). I really don't like crying though... Pretty much only because it dehydrates me and if I cry too much it makes my face sore.

Is this even a question? Of course, why not? Men are human just as women. They can produce tears. They have feelings.

Anybody who says a man is a wimp for crying needs to burn in their own personal hell in my opinion. <3

It's just so rude to say "no you can't express your feelings because you're a male!!"

Crying is perfectly fine for anyone regardless of gender. I think some people just don't lke the idea of crying because they see it as weakness when really, it's the opposite

I definitely think its good for men to cry. Crying shows that you have emotions and are therefore human. A man who cannot cry in my opinion looks less human and unapproachable. I usually tend to stay away from men that cannot show their emotions like, happiness, anger or sadness.

I am indifferent towards men crying or not. The only reason I don't cry is because since I have autism I process information and stimuli differently which makes my mind more analytical than emotional. That being said I'm not emotionless I just don't react a lot of the time.

yes,

it's okay for men to cry.

men are just like any other human being. and they too deal with emotions the same way every other human does.

there is nothing wrong with showing emotions. and it's not supposed to be vieuwed as "weak".

The social construct that men are not allowed to cry since they are men is wrong. it needs to be changed. men are just like every other person allowed to cry whenever they need to.

personally I think children need to be tought that boys are allowed to cry too, that they have emotions too and that these emotions matter. that there is nothing wrong or weak with boys who cry.

"Is it ok for guys to cry" suggests that you're asking if it's acceptable for a male to cry, in which case of course it's okay; There shouldn't be any reason why it's not okay. Crying is a natural reaction that we shouldn't suppress. It's a part of our emotions, and it's good to cry and let it all out.

Apparently society nowadays frowns upon guys that cry (Apparently it's a sign of weakness), I say that's bulls***. How is showing your emotions weak or strange? I find it pathetic that society to this day still believes it can suggest what a male and female should do and what not to do; Quite ridiculous if you ask me, and stereotypical.

I say don't hold it in and allow your eyes to flood the room you're in. Real men cry.

Crying is okay so long as it's about something that is worth crying over.

That's pretty subjective. If something upsets you so much it's hard to control your emotions. I no matter what it is, I think it's best to just let it all out.

It's completely normal and acceptable to cry, as it releases a lot of stress and anxiety you may be feeling at the moment. However, I do think it is important to address what exactly is making you cry, because crying can only do so much. The cause behind the crying may still exist.

I sometimes cry myself.
