OHH, interesting thread! I hope I can catch some nice, rare but good animes here when the responses start to tumble in.

 

WELL, my favorite anime are: Death Parade, Ano Hana, Ano Natsu de Matteru, Kaleido Star, Kobato., Princess Tutu and Yowamushi Pedal. I know that's a handful but, but I cannot decide upon only one as my favorite anime.

NOW, my favorite manga are: Fruits Basket, Detective Conan, One Piece, Gakuen Alice, Boku no Hero Academia, Gangsta., Ran to Haiiro no Sekai, W Juliet and finally Skip Beat!.

I don't read much manga honestly. I read a Legend of Zelda manga that my brother got and I thought it was good

 

As for anime, maybe either Parasyte or Noragami

I've never been such a reader, so no favorite mango. My favorite anime however is 'Shingeki no Kyojin' (attack on Titan) and 'Ōkami to Kōshinryō' (Spice and Wolf)

I stopped reading manga years ago. When I did Jing: King of Bandits stood out as the best. I'd argue that it remains my favorite anime series of all time. I never saw the anime for it but let's not split hairs.

 

Some of my favorite anime are Darker Than Black, Ah My Goddess, Cat Planet Cuties, Shuffle!, High School DxD, Is This A Zombie, Rumbling Hearts and Heaven's Lost Property.

 

I'm particularly fond of comedy and ecchi anime that are completely aware of what they are and don't try to hide it. In fact, anime like Heaven's Lost Property use that to their advantage and it makes it all the funnier.

Hmm, I don't really read Manga, the only one being Attack on Titan up until I think volume 13. I do watch anime from time to time, though, and I'd have to say Full Metal Achemist: Brotherhood is probably my favorite!

I watch Attack on Titan too, heck, it was the one that made me START watching anime, but unlike FMA: B, I don't know how well it's gonna all end!

(The Devil is a Part-Timer deserves an honorable mention, though, as it was probably the best comedic anime I've seen so far )

Shingeki no Kyojin for both manga and anime. 

 

Puella Magi Oriko Magica was also pretty good, I preferred it a lot more than Madoka Magica. I also really liked Attack on Titan; Junior High! Petra is back, and my heart beats fast!   

DBZ, I loved that too as well! I prefer manga over anime, it's more accurate.

I'm going to count A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun as one. The series has so many amazing and likable characters <3

 

I don't read a lot of manga but Accelerator from the above series got one featuring him so I'll go with that.

Any anime that makes me cry or has a awesome ending is awesome. (Kekkai Sensen's last episode is still delayed for some time now...)
