I don't remember... I looked up something MLP related, and it led me here!


How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic:

My aunts gave me their gen-1s and thus started my fandom!

I am a 14 year old female that lives in the united states. I like My Little Pony, Pokemon, RWBY, and Steven Universe (#believeinsteven). I take swordsmanship from my mom, for it is our legacy. I'm Euroasian, so my mom is from Japan (and I am too!) and our ancestors were samurai. I have a little sister and a little brother, my dad, my mom, my 6 fish, and my New 3DS XL!!!

Some people use them as basis for art while others write fan fictions about them. Myself? I make increasingly elaborate Pokemon jokes while greeting new users... Okay now I know that this has got to be like the 3rd time I've used this today... Curse you brain!

Seems like somebody already posted the Welcome Song, but nevertheless, welcome to this magical (and sometimes crazy depending on where you go, but in a good way of course) land that we like to refer to as The My Little Pony Forums (or MLP Forums for short). There are many different places on this here site for you to visit, some of them more eager to entice your happiness than others!

 

The people (or ponies as we call each other... well some of us) here are extremely friendly and are willing to help out if you ever require assistance. If you ever need a friend, feel free to wander over yander way until you stumble upon a post called "Meeting Your New Bestfriend Thread" (or something along those lines). If you get lost, feel free to ask around, and I'm sure that somebo- I mean somepony will help you find your way!

 

If you ever want some form of artwork done, we have a section here called the Creative Resources. Feel free to browse through many of the request shops and don't be shy to ask for something if you want it!

 

I don't really know what else to say, as I'm no staff member, nor am I a tour guide. If anything, I've only been here for a year, and I'm still finding my way around. I can tell you one thing though. Here on the forums, you are bound to make some amazing friends!

 

Anyhow Miss Starlight, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors! If you happen to stumble upon me or any of the wonderful people who stopped to say hello, don't be afraid to strike up a conversation (we usually use the private messaging system though). Anyhow, hope to see you around and active!

While it is true that I started with gen 1 many years ago now. My favorite region is actually Sinnoh and I prefer gen 6 to basically every other generation having played all of them only not owning gen 2. The saving is just so fast it's like instant... As for the joke Professor Oak is just the most iconic one which is why I used him.

Cool! I prefer Dialga over Palkia. I remember when I was six I saw banners for the brand new Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. I didn't really like Pokemon back then, but I remember that Piplup! The blue, cute penguin.
