gaming Games you used to play that you no longer have access to?

The games I am very fond of are the games I use to play as a very young boy. My brother let his friend borrow Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, a game that I am so fond of, but I cannot play anymore because he hasn't given it back yet. He doesn't even play it. Another game is Super Monkey Ball Adventure. It's a game on the GameCube, the game that came out after Amusement Vision was stopping to create Super Monkey Ball and Sega took over. I remember that game so much. I remember my main was MeeMee for some reason. Another is Sonic Heroes, my brother played that game a lot on the GameCube. I played it a little, even though it wasn't my kind of game. Still, it's a game of my childhood and it would great if I had that game. Now, what games do you no longer have access to?

UPDATE: Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg was given back from my bro's friend and I can play it now.

Oof. This is a tough one, actually. Nowadays, you can get an Emulator and a ROM for just about any Nintendo System, and some for other assorted systems. I can't think of any games that I can't find any more, as we have Used Game Stores, which often times carry games you can't find any more. As far as PC Games go, A simple Google search will often times turn up something Useful. I think the hardest game for me to find was an old Top-Down Puzzle game called "Chip's Challenge". It came with the "Windows Entertainment Pack" and "Best of Windows Entertainment Pack" from the 3.1/95/98/2000/ME era of Windows OS.

For me, practically everything I had on the original XBOX. I had to give away (not sell, unfortunately) the console a while ago. To keep from posting my entire game library, I'm just gonna say my favorite games. I often see them at a local game store, which is just flat out insulting to me. Damn you, lack of backwards compatibility.

Tony Hawk's Underground 1 & 2. I've spent so many hours in this duology. They're easily in my top 10 favorite games of my childhood. They're in my top 5 soundtracks of all time.

There's also Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. I got to play this again recently. The graphics hold up surprisingly well. The combat was still as fun as always. I recently realized this is the game that got me interested in dieselpunk and alternate histories.

The last one I'll list is SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom. It's one of the few good games based on a TV series I've ever played. BFBB has a pretty good soundtrack, too, but it's not in my top 5.

My Gamecube Collection, though it's less "I don't have them anymore"(I still have them all in fact), but more "my Wii's busted and I don't have a GC to play them on and I don't want to hack my Wii U)

Original Liero, It was and still is my favorite game ever. It's sad that original works only in Windows 98 or older.

An MS-DOS Emulator works wonders if you know how to set it up. There's bound to be some Instructions somewhere, if you take some time to look it up. I personally recommend DOSBox, or ScummVM.

I used to play The Sims Bustin' Out and The Urbz Sims in the City on my GBA, I loved those games

Emulators are really great for playing older games like that. I'm not going to post links, since ROMs and Emulators are... Questionable, and I'm not sure about this sites Policy on them.

Thanks for information, I look it up someday.

There's the games I played on the NES as a really young child. The NES simply stopped working after it was up in storage for a good several years. =/

Otherwise, unless I haven't acquired it (like Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life) I can't really think of anything as a console for all of my games is functioning.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for the Gamecube. I had gotten it as a Christmas prezzie one year and played the heck out of it, finished it, and even brought it with me on a holiday one year, after which I never saw it again. :( I can only surmise I somehow left it behind in the hotel room without realizing...  Really wish I hadn't, because I still see it selling today for upwards of €70 or more!

I suppose there are always emulators, but they tend to be more then a little buggy. =/

I haven't been able to play my Nintendo 64 games in many years. It's unfortunate since some of my favorite games like Mischief Makers were on that system. Someone jammed crayons in the slot and at the time I had no idea how to get them out or if it would ever work after that. It's long gone now.

Soon I won't be able to play my Gameboy Advance games since my original DS is at the end of its rope.

I don't have that problem with Playstation games yet since the PS3 can play PS1 games perfectly and my PS2 is relatively new.

All of my Atari and Sega games since i lost an tv cable...both of them...so i cant play any of them unless i get a new cable.

I used to play Xbox 360, Psp,Nintendo Ds and Playstation 3 games but all consoles and handhelds got broken,so...cant play any of those either.

And some old Dos Games that i just cant manage to play anymore with all those emulators and rom drives and all that crap.

A game that i always wanted to play, but never could was Superboy the interactive Comic.

Ive tried multiple computers and multiple emulators like Dosbox and Boxer for Apple.

But it always says it needs Windows.  :ooh:

But i have Windows   And also an Dos Emulator, so what am i doing wrong? And why does it always say it needs windows when it says on the package that its also for mac?  :eww:

Well, i think i will get never access to it

And the countless games i scratched as a kid, because i didnt cared so much about the game cds... :( i really regret that...

It's probably meaning that Little Mac isn't a bad fighter. Ha, JK. Speaking of Little Mac, I forgot to mention that Punch Out!! for the Wii is a great game that we used to have, but I only saw it as ''just a boxing game''. I have made a terrible mistake. That game is amazing.

I used to love playing Simpsons Hit and Run, The Simpsons Game and a few others on my brother's Xbox 360, but then it just stopped working as a whole, so it's been years since I played any of those.

Nostalgic memories are activated...

I used to have so many games when I was younger... I had an N64, a Nintendo DS (I still have a few of the cartridges, and I'm planning to get a 2DS), a GameCube, a Game Boy Advance, and I have a functioning PS2 that I could play if only I had cords.

It would take a super long time to list every game, it would be a page-long post.

I've lost/sold a lot of games and regret it, but one that really stands out for me is The Legend of Zelda for the NES. I lost it years ago. :c

I called it "the shiny game" as a little kid because of the shiny cartridge, lol.

There are plenty of these in my life, one of these is Stubbs the Zombie. That is a great mention because it was such a good and unique game that was only marred by short length. My copy for Xbox was lost a long time ago and while I could play it on PC, my PC probably would not be able to handle even that. :| I would love to see a remake for it.
