Where's Jem at? You can't have a cartoon list without Jem. She was the highest rated cartoon series of the 80's! Much like MLP, Jem transcended the "girl" genre and had many MANY boy fans too. She still has a loyal following and lots of devoted fan sites.

Batman TES is absolutely brillant.

That show was flawless up until they redesigned the look of it to fit superman.

But even then it was still pretty good.

Futurama and King of the Hill have been my favorites in recent years.

 

Back when I was younger I really enjoyed The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter's Lab. However, seeing as they aren't shown on TV these days and I haven't seen them since way back when I don't know how exactly I'd feel about them today. I'd think that I'd feel similarly, but on the other hand I used to love Ed, Edd, and Eddy, but a couple of years ago when I came back to it and watched the movie I no longer understood how I ever liked the show. Although maybe that's just the movie...

Phineas and Ferb is a fantastic cartoon, and one of the handful that are worth watching and have been for a few years now.

Out of all those I would choose My Little Pony FiM, Samurai Jack and Batman: TAS. But my favorite cartoon of all time is the late 90s early 2000s Spider-Man cartoon and Batman Beyond.

It was everything that made things like the Looney Tunes and the Three Stooges good, but sort of reinterpreted. It played off absurd and nonsensical humor, but added a disturbing psychological twist to it.

I've watched every episode of Futurama at least 3 times, working on my second run through The Real Ghostbusters, and FiM too many times to count.
