A cartoon about magic talking horses. It's pretty niche, so I highly doubt that anyone here has heard of it.

Aside from horse barbie cartoon and ATHF, I think I'm going to go with: Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Pulling off horror and comedy at all can be difficult; doing so within the limitations of an early 2000's Cartoon Network format without sacrificing either is noteworthy.

There are definitely weak episodes, but I'm still impressed by how fresh and unique the good ones feel. With a surreal atmosphere, a distinct visual style and some daring concepts, CtCD still manages to hold its own even today. Always an oddball and like Courage himself almost abandoned in infancy, it survived long enough to mature without overstaying its welcome.

Ominous and distinct while remaining generally light-hearted, there really isn't much to compare it to even all these years later.

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, it does a good job at satirically referencing a lot of folklore/mythology sometimes in a cryptic and subtle way that is very funny yet still dark and interesting.

I like the way the character archetypes play off each other, and the way I kind of see it is like an "As told by Mandy" perspective of the then present time.

It can be gross & edgy & have shock factor, rarely but sometimes wholesome and it is also very funny.
