Do you eat food a certain way?

I noticed that I have these little habits when I eat certain foods. For example, I'll bite the heads off of gummy worms before eating the rest of it. Or I'll bite the salt off of pretzels before eating the whole thing.

I know some people also really like to slurp their noodles, eat the crust of a pizza first, or suck the flavoring out of a popsicle. One of my family members always "unwraps" a cinnamon roll and slices it up before eating it, too.

Do you have any weird, food-related habits?

If there are multiple items on my plate, I will typically eat all of one of them, then all of the next, and so on until there's nothing left.  My best friend watched with fascination once as I did this, then said that it was really annoying.

When I eat a blaa (Like a floury Bap) I tend to eat all around the edges first, before biting into the middle - because I like to save the best oart until last.

BUt only with those rolls. No other sandwich type food.

If I'm having a burger meal, I usually eat all the fries before I even unwrap the burger at all. And if it came with an ice cream, I love to dip the fries in the ice cream. Ice cream on fries and ketchup on ice cream are some of those weird food combinations that work better than most people would expect them to.

Sometimes, I like to rip up the tortilla wrap and mix the pieces with the filling on a plate and eat it all with a fork. Because I hate getting that greasy stuff on my hands >->'

I also tend to put BBQ spice mix on vegetable soup. Not because I don't like the soup, but because it fits surprisingly well.

Yes, I eat food in a certain way. I take the food, put it in my mouth, chew it, swallow it, digest it, and then dispose of it. XD I have certain ways for some foods but I can't think of them right now :L

Like Chezana... When I get an Arby's meal I'll take out the fries and eat them before even unwrapping the sandwich, and then even weirder I'll usually just eat the meat out of the sandwich, and not the bread. It's not that I don't like bread - I do - I just don't like opening up my mouth wide enough to eat sandwiches with my jaw condition.

I don't know that this counts, as it's not how I eat the food... But when I have toast, I like it being very close to, if not burnt. lol

I'm a bit of a traditionalist.   Preferably,  using my mouth to consume my food.

A few years back I was very non-conformist,  but all the other types of eating really just,    weren't as effective.

If I'm sitting at the computer eating popcorn or some snack food that has dust on it (like Cheetos for example) I eat them out of a bowl with a fork or spoon, thus I don't get my keyboard dirty and can still use both my hands for typing or playing games.

Not having enough dip/chips used to be really annoying until I was browsing xkcd one day.

Everything has to be separated before I eat it. Nothing can be meshed together until I start eating. Seriously. It's a giant OCD thing I have with symmetry.

I also write with my right hand, and eat with my left hand. Though, I can't do both at the same time.

I also eat ridiculously slow, maybe taoe about 30 minutes to eat one rice bowl.

Just punch the sandvich until it is a panvich. LOL

I eat chips in 2 bites and after each bite I flip the chip over. People think it's weird but I like tasting each side of the chip.

I used to do that. Then I got tired of waiting and started stuffing my face with chips.

I shove it in my mouth as quick as possible.

Hey Earl. LOL you keep popping up on nearly every post I click on.

So I have a question.. Do you eat the bowl the rice is in or you eat the rice the bowl is in? It takes me 30 minutes to eat the rice bowl but only a few to eat the rice in the bowl.

I eat Top Ramen with a fork. First, I pull out a big string of noodles. Second, I eat it from the bottom up.

Try it sometime. It's actually a lot less warm when you do this technique.

I think I've some of the weirdest ones.

Okay, so butterfingers, snickers, and 3 musketeer bars...

Butterfingers: I eat the chocolate on the outside first, and enjoy the peanut butter toffee center by itself.

Snickers: I eat the top bit first, and eat the nougat separately.

3 Musketeer bars: Similar to the butterfingers, I eat the chocolate layer first, and save the middle for itself.

Oh, and with Ice Cream Sandwiches, I eat the chocolate wafers seperate from the ice cream.

...I'm noticing a problem here...I think I have separation issues
