Who would you vote for this presidential election?

My first vote goes with Rand Paul, but sadly it looks like he is not going to make the primary so my second choice Donald Trump.

Β

No way I am voting for Jeb, Hilary, or Sanders. If any one of those win the primaries to the general, I will either vote for the Libertarian party candidate if there is one, or not vote at all.

Β

Β

a lot of socialist on this sight, aren't there?Β

Β

Based on this thread so far yes. But I am sure there are many libertarians and even conservatives.

Β

Funny thing with the brony census, the most amount of bronies per capita meaning on 1-10 person basis is in conservative states like utah or texas.

Since Vermin Supreme is running again...

I wish I was american, and old enough to vote. I would vote for him for sure. Then again, That's the main reason why there IS an minimum age limit.

Β

If I could vote, I would vote for Reggie Fils-aime, for he would be the very best.

His body is ready for change.

I'm going to be 17 during the election, so I won't be able to vote. If I could vote, I'd vote for Bernie Sanders. If I were to vote for a Republican, I'd probably choose Rand Paul.

Also, if any of you are wondering who you should vote for, this website has a quiz. https://www.isidewith.com/

Hmm. Apparently I'm 85% Sandersian.

I'll admit that I haven't payed enough attention to make an educated choice yet, EXCEPT I know that Trump is the worst candidate. Please, whoever you vote for, make sure you educate yourself about them. We don't want the wrong person elected because people make stupid decisions without really thinking about it. This is the president of the USA. This should not be taken lightly.Β

I'm a hardcore Libertarian to the core...

But Ron [Paul] didn't make it last time.

So...

I'm gonna root for Ron's son, Rand. Β

(Yes, I have researched every f-----g bit of his stances - and that of his opponents. Β I like politics. Β I love Rand Paul)...

(Well... Except for one little thing... I don't like that Rand is less Libertarian than his father. Β His father was A-Okay with gay marriage. Β Ron... however, well... yeah - he made some statements on that subject I do not agree with [i'm bi])... (But, most everything else, I agree with)...

Who ever the Democrat nominee is. I don't bother with third party candidates because they never win because they don't get enough coverage. Β But yes, the Democrat nominee because they are the most liberal option(that can actually win). The most important issue to me right now is reproductive rights and I don't trust the Republicans to protect those rights. Β I mean they are constantly hating on abortion and abortion is fundamental healthcare!

So far, every single Republican candidate vying for President this year is aligned with the vile Tea Party, a conspiracy theorist, incompetent, homophobic, racist (i.e., Islamophobic, xenophobic towards Latinos/Latin Americans), misogynist (i.e., pledging to cut down on Planned Parenthood), anti-social justice, anti-union, or a combination. There's nothing remotely good about any of them. Hillary Clinton has the credentials, but her past with her emails make me not trust her so much.

Β

So far, my vote goes exclusively to Bernie Sanders*.

Β

*If Elizabeth Warren ever decided to run, she'd get my vote easily.

It can only be Bernie Sanders. The Republicans are all a bunch of nutjobs, not the least bit of any sense in any of them. And Hillary Clinton, she's just not going to win this one.

Ron Paul all the way. He is actually a threat to the government (which is corrupt) and I am always in support of someone who can stand up for the people rather than the money. All this "patriotism" nonsense is to get people to think that meddling in other countries business is something we should do on a regular basis. I am saddened at the fact that America never even learned that lesson from Vietnam. Sure the great wars were important (not to mention we only entered when we actually were needed) but look at the facts, America has been at war almost constantly ever since we started out as a country. We lost the last sensible president with the death of JFK. Ron Paul is trying to revive this kind of leader who isn't in it for fame and glory, but for contribution. Of course most everyone here doesn't even know about him. That is because the media was paid off/forced to not show him in any of their broadcasts. Literally this election America lost yet again more of that "free" value that was held above all else in our days of founding.

Β

Search up "Ron Paul" in YouTube if you want a clue of what I'm ranting on about.

Hate to break it to you, but Ron Paul isn't running this election cycle. :( In 2012, when Ron Paul dropped out, I voted for Gary Johnson. It was a compromise... I am a pro-life libertarian.

Β

As for this election cycle, I will likely vote for a third party again. If I had to pick a D or R, I'd vote for Carly Fiorina. She's not perfect, but I wouldn't be upset if she were running our country.

Bernie Sanders for sure. If Trump wins, I'm moving to Canada or Australia.

Β

You should make this a poll with the most popular candidates.Β  :)

Aussie politics is a tad unstable at the moment. We've had 5 prime ministers in 5 years, with the latest overthrow being within the month.

Β

Assuming you're ok with compulsory voting and poisonous snakes/spiders I'd say come on over.

Also word of warning: we've had flash flooding, bushfires and record heatwaves within the same week- in the same state.

Β

In my town there was snow on Sunday and bushfires (like bad ones) on Friday.

Β

Just brace yourself ok? :)

Hardcore libertarians unite.

I like politics but I love libertarian politics.

Of all the major candidates running for the Democratic and Republican nominations, Rand Paul by far comes closest to my libertarian political views, and so long as he's on the ballot, I intend to vote for him in the Republican presidential primary. However, unless Rand Paul wins the Republican nomination, I will almost certainly vote Libertarian in the general election.

I wouldn't vote for anyone in the U.S. because I am not a U.S. citizen, I wish you all the best though.

Β

Personally speaking openly about all members of country runners I'd say they're all untrustworthy.Β

Even if Bernie gets the nomination (which I much rather see than Hilary) He has a problem winning the election do to his looks and age and being at upfront socialist which will be used to attack him big time. At least other Democrats running who are socialist lie.

I give Bernie a ton of credit being honest, but I dont see him even getting the nomination.

Even if Bernie gets the nomination, I wont vote for him at all. I rather just vote for the libertarian party or not at all.
For me its either Rand, Trump, even Carson or even Fiorina.

Β

On a side note I found out Nowacking is a huge Bernie supporter. Wont hold her against her though. I tend not to judge people on their political views anyway, just if they are a good person.

Rand Paul, I proudly and enthusiastically supported his father in 2012 and while Rand differs on some issues he is still fairly close to his dad politically and is the candidate most likely to actually respect their oath to protect and defend the constitution. Bernie Sanders is a good man who does believe his is doing the right thing but his economic policies would bankrupt us. Hilary Clinton has been riding the whole feminism thing hard and I have had enough of the identity politics BS. I don't think Donald Trump actually believes a single word that is coming out of his mouth, he like a louder less politically correct version of Mitt Romney. The rest of the republican candidates are complete and total jokes, especially Jeb Bush and Mike Huckabee.
