searching AAA: The Alicorn Allocation Alliance

Since Alicorn OCs seem to be a taboo thing for most RPs, why not make an RP about Alicorns? The premise is that one of the princesses accidentally unleashes an ancient magic that turns ponies across Equestria into Alicorns. AAA is soon formed and now they have to find and locate these newborn gods before they hurt themselves or anypony else, accidentally or not. Will the players willingly go with the princesses and the guard when they get spotted walking down the streets with a horn and wings? Will they try to fight back to remain free? Or will they try to run and stay hidden? It's up to you.

I think a hidden herd of Alicorns could work, even in some of them did not want to be with the princess and be free?   Would their magic get bound and they would have to fight to be free....     I kinda like this idea long as you get a good balance in the role play of powers checks and stuff.

@reader8363The backstory maybe a bit iffy. Him becoming an Allicorn is supposed to be sudden, so him getting ascended 1000 years prior won't work. He can still have the tragic backstory. He just needs to be a modern Pegasus for most of it. 

 

 

@Drago Ryder The backstory will have to be tweaked, as the ascension is happening for all the characters at the same time. She can still be merged with Baz, but her Alicornhood and the powers it brings will be done by the story. 

 

 

@Shadow Dancer I'd recommend scaling back on the back story, as this takes place around the same time as the show and not years into the future. Still avoiding Luna's offers of a guard role or already a member of the guard would probably be the best roles. An Alicorn assassin sounds a bit too OP for this RP. Maybe he can be heading the task force that searches for these rogue Alicorns ,if he's discovered?

 

@Tao I can see her working for this. She saves the batch of students, and then a few weeks later, get's ascended out of nowhere.

Sure. Got a character in mind? Keep in mind they'll become an Alicorn in story, unless you want them to be somebody going after or  be involved with the Alicorns.

Edit: Yeah, I'm gonna have to say no on both accounts. This RP is OCs becoming Alicorns, so they would have to be changed into them in game, and even then being related to the Princesses in such a manner will throw the focus of the game. So to those characters, unless there's heavy modding to the backstories, I'm gonna have to decline.

Becomes an Alicorn. Everypony here is getting ascended out of nowhere. She'll wake up one morning with a horn (and maybe a taller body, bigger wings, wavy mane, etc. Your call). That's how it'll start.

Don't be like that. Take pride in your characters and the stories behind them. Just keep in mind that not every character is suited for every game.

@Drago Ryder I'll allow, but he'll have to loose the amulet. An amulet and alicornhood? That's too OP. He can acquire those powers after he becomes an alicorn. I recommend that he have the wings before ascension too. A member of Luna's own guard getting ascended? That could make for some interesting game play.
