That seems to be a chibi new line for EG. I don't expect it to be used in another movie, but I would consider buying one if not so God ass ugly like the current dolls  .

UPDATE: Yep, chibi EG toys, and while they don't resemble the movies as much as I' expected, they are far more appealing than the standard line of toys, cute even  . I have to decide between Dashie, Twi, Pinks, or Rarity

I imagine these were made to combat the monster high vinyl figures by mattel. 

I actually do not know Much about monster high but the figures are simular in shape.

These are amazing.... so cute, I need them all.... there's just one thing missing that ruins this for me.... where's Sunny?!?!

These are by far some of the most exciting merchandise reveals but it sucks when my favorite is missing :okiedokielokie:

Holy crap, EQG figures that don't make me want to vomit. Looking at the idea of "Chibi" + the track record of EQG dolls I was expecting the worst, but these look great

At first when I read about this, before I seen any images, I was already cowering in fear. Chibi versions of the horrific EqG dolls? *shivers* Nope. After seeing the images though, I am quite impressed. They are still not completely spot on, but they are worlds better than the original dolls and this, this makes me quite happy. I may actually buy some EqG merch for once, instead of just seeing it in stores and running for me life. XD The originals seemed like aliens that tried human makeup and whatnot, these are actually cute looking. +1 for Hasbro toyline.

One thing though, they don't have wings on any of the characters, which is a bit of a minus. Plus Dash's leg's weird (it looks to be missing a piece) and her back hair is all blue.
But past that, these are really nice looking. Definitely would buy. I do have to question why they gave dash shorts instead of her normal mini-skirt though.

As one of the fans that does like the Equestria Girls doll lineup, I am very excited about these and think I would like them even more! It's about time they made figures rather than only dolls of EqG. They look great!

Maybe because many of us found weird that Dashie had a pink skirt when she's a professional tomboy
