Shouldn't the Mane Six and Humane Six meet now?

I'm not suggesting that Twilight should drag one group to the other world or vice versa. But now that she's met her humanized self, they could modify that magic-stealing device to open more portals. The ones created in Friendship Games were more convenient because you could see into Equestria without actually crossing over.

Both groups must be extremely curious about one another. And who knows, maybe Sunset would want to check in with Celestia from time to time? At this point, I don't see any reason for them all not to get together like this. It's the perfect equivalent to Skype.

No, they're not. FiM's Twilight went there and sends messages to Sunset in the EG universe.

 

As for the topic, I don't think that would be necessary. Unlike the two Twilight Sparkles, the rest of the main six are exact duplicates of each other minus wings and horns for the humans. There would be nothing interesting to see and it would only make a story too convoluted unless they were regulated to cameos only.

I feel like they should; it would lead to some excellent character development as each character can literally see their own strengths and weaknesses before them, and can lead to some great comedy. I am surprised the EQ Girls Writers haven't even touched on a concept like that yet.

What I said was EQG and FIM aren't separate at all. Ponies still make appearances in the movies, and the movies continue to make references to the show. How hard is THAT to grasp?

On a meta level that should be quite strange for Ashleigh Ball. If both RDs and both AJs are in the same room at the same time, she'd be having a four-way conversation with herself.

If this really happens, I will imagine Rainbow Dash in both sides (pony/human) yelling "Who the hell are you?", both Rarity fainting, both Pinkie Pie screaming, both Applejack speechless and both Twilight acting normal. (I cannot think of anything about Fluttershy)

 

It would be real fun to see them face to face - that would cause some misunderstandings and funny sketches. But apart from that, I am rather concerned about the proper developments of the characters and storyline if they met. Clash of two worlds is fun, but bad development might drag the whole series/movie. DHX should proceed on with this idea carefully.

I wouldn't mind all of the Mane Six crossing the portal, but I was thinking more about the human and pony six seeing each other, as they are in their own worlds, through new portals. FG showed that the humans could actually see Equestria without crossing over and transforming into ponies themselves, and vice versa.

The Humane Six only know the pony Twilight as a human. Surely, they've been wanting to see her for what she really is, not to mention what they themselves are like as ponies?

I'm especially interested to know how human Fluttershy would react to her ponied self. Would she want a lengthy conversation, or would it come down to her just wanting to do this?
