Aw, poor Spikey-wikey is still grounded? The events in that episode should've long since been forgiven. He can't miss out on MLP's 5th anniversary.

Would it still be considered 1 entry if I had to split my full post into 2 posts because of Twitter's character limit? Just wondering, cuz I posted mine but had a rather long sentence, so I ended up splitting it into separate posts.

That's fine.  You can only enter 1 time per site so that would be 1 entry.  If you want to enter more than once you can post on our Facebook and dA pages.

5 Years guys. That is an extremly long time. That's 1825 days of Pony, or 43800 hours of Pony.

5 years ago at that time, i was working at my first job, not really caring about pastel color ponies and i was more into video games. I mean i still am, but not that big anymore.

I started noticing Pony Avatars as early as 2011 and while i wasn't mad, as other people where in the forums that i visited, i was slit ghtly confused.

Then September 2011 happend and i finally gave this show a shot and i never looked backed.

Thank you for this wonderful ride team. I want to especially thank Megan Mccarthy, M. A. Larson and Amy Keating Rogers for staying on this ride for so long.

Once this series ends, i will cherish the memories of this ride in my heart.

Thank you everybody.

I don't know what I was doing 5 years ago. Maybe hanging out my cousins? It wasn't until the end of 2012, when I discovered the Pones. I was pretty oblivious to them even though I know I had seen ponies on the interwebs. I just didn't think anything of it. Why even in Nostalgia Critics "To Boldly Flee", someone was wearing a Derpy shirt. I didn't even notice it and say, hey wait a minute, what is that? I was just completely oblivious.

But after seeing the word Brony and becoming curious, I finally dove in and kept swimming deeper. GG Lauren Faust, you got me to go somewhere I never would have thought to have gone. To the land of magical pastel ponies, and the world of the Bronies. If Lauren and the team hadn't made the show what it is, I would have turned away from it after watching just one episode. Now I see the show as I would see any other cartoon I enjoy. Rather than biting my lip and cringing that I'm watching a "little girls" cartoon.

I will be with the fandom for a long time to come.

Thank you MLP, Lauren, Amy, Larson, Daniel Ingram, and everyone else on the team! PsQTOSdWlhc.jpg

Man 5 years. That's amazing. Most shows anymore barely last a year or 2.

I discovered mlp about 4 years ago. At first when I was playing a game, I seen someone called Luna, and didn't think much of it, till she posted a 100% Luna Approved stamp on a post on the games forum. That's when I first seen an mlp character. I didn't think too much of it, I was curious of course but didn't really have time to look it up right then, and eventually forgot about it, until she made another post a few weeks later with an image of Princess Luna and Celestia. It was then that it really caught my attention. I liked the cartoon look of it and wondered what it was, if it was a show, a comic, a book or what not. So I looked it up with a Google search I still laugh about. "Who is luna, a purple horse" yea..... I still find this funny and shake my head at my self over that one, but looking it up and doing an image search changed my life forever. I realized it was a show called my little pony. And at first, I didn't want to watch it because it looked really girly and at my age, I was worried what people would think. So I just left it off my mind. Well... a month later, the first episode came on TV, when Nightmare Moon came back. I was flipping through the channels, home alone and bored with the ridiculous TV shows that nick and Disney had begun airing. As I flipped through the channels, I seen a glimpse of what looked like Luna (didn't know at the time she was Nightmare Moon) and said, "hmm, no one's here, noting on, I guess I'll give it a shot." Well.... I've been a brony ever since. Every lesson Twilight wrote about, I made a mental note to it, and in the process made a practice of doing them and began to become a better friend to everyone. I still use those as tips and have helped countless friends, whether it be over a video game, across town friend, or a family member. MLP has really changed my life for the better. People ask how I could get into something so girly. My response is always it's moral character and mixture of humor.

MLP truly is the best show I've ever watched

I "officially" became a fan in October of 2012, so I suppose MLP's fifth anniversary coincides with my third anniversary. And what a turbulent few years it has been...

But to put a focus on what's happen fandom- and show-wise, I rediscovered my passion for writing and editing, I met some amazing friends (many of whom aren't around anymore, but I can point out bruh and I WUV WOO), joined the only online community that I've ever stayed with fore more than a few weeks, enjoyed hundreds of hours of music, videos, and art, not to mention all the time I've put into fanfiction, and found a fandom where I don't mind saying "Yeah, I'm one of you guys."

Cheers, Hasbro. You're an evil corporation, but you're the evil corporation that I love and hold dear. Let's go another five years with pony.

Because it was three years for me to pump out one story. It's gonna take another three more.

Go pony! It's your birthday! We gon party like it's your birthday! I didn't start watching the show until February last year, but I've been loving it ever since. 5 years ago, I was still getting to my new life. Parents separated, new school, new houses. I didn't even know about the fandom until 2012, then 2013 was when I became interested in the show and fandom. I got to thank everyone for making me feel less upset and less stressed, including the show staff, and every brony I've talked to. /)
