If you could start your own country

I was going on the basis that the area in which my country would be was devoid of the previous tenants for some unknown reason, or that it didn't have previous tenants, and we were the first there. Therefore my followers would move to this area and live.

But if that is not the case, then there isn't really anywhere anyone could make a country, as most of the desirable land area on Earth is already populated (at least in my point of view).

 

 

 

Not really my beliefs, actually. I just think that it's one possible way to run a government to the extent of technology being their primary asset. And actually, as long as everyone is at peace, with 0% crime and peaceful living, then no one has anything to complain about, and presumably nothing to revolt about. As long as I were to keep everything peaceful and clean, with no poverty, then wouldn't that mean that everyone would be happy to the ways they lived? In Ankroxia, everything is priced on how often it is purchased. At the start, it's price is fair (let's say, $25), and after a few years, the most bought items would be less than that, varying on popularity (no matter size of item or uses). Every job would be payed the same amount, so therefore no one would feel in control of others, or feel as though they aren't payed enough compared to other's (the national pay rate would be the average cost of all items, per hour). I get that some people might think that their job requires them to work harder, and therefore they require more pay, but seeing as prices of everything are relatively the same, with no discounts on items because of title or job, then they either except it, or they change jobs, or they leave.

 

 

 

Crime would be kept down as much as possible. Though there are 3 days a year in which some crimes are allowed as people are always in need of some form of release. And on these three days, there are area's in which you can take shelter if you do not wish to participate (murder is not allowed on any of these days. Neither is rape.).

One more thing. I mentioned earlier that this is one possibility of running a government. I said this because I have thought of multiple ways of running countries through varies types of governments and such, including ways are used by current countries.

Quite interesting, But that somewhat sound like Communism (which makes China the perfect place for your country) because of your Absolute Monarchy and because there isn't a free market. Also what about bread and milk, $25 for bread and milk is WAY overpriced. (take it from me I am toast XD). Also does that mean a person that works in a coal mine (risking their life to get valuable natural resources) and a person who delivers mail for a living would be paid the same, seems a little unfair.

I believe a man that does little gets little, a man that does much shall get much and a man who does nothing shall receive nothing.

That would probably be the same for all of us but imagine a world where you could rule a country.

The culture would be Roman-esque and yet modern at the same time. Nova Roma!

 

The economy would be in a socialistic style with mixed-market ideas. No private businesses in functions like healthcare, energy, and gun manufacturing, etc. without a special permit.

 

Crime and punishment would be both modern in arresting, juries, and many other comforts of the American system, but punishment would be harsh and unforgiving for all but the weakest offenses.

 

Why?: I want to fulfill both my militaristic subconscious and yet also be a good boy... Plus I love Rome.

Why?: It's one of the most resource-rich areas on Earth.

Government: Fascist, slowly morphing into Social Democracy within 30 years of founding, after having established a patriotic citizenship and a culture of our own. I would rule during the first 30 years, slowly guiding the change. After 30 years we would have our first election and I would retire to my palace near Lake Victoria.

My country would be accepting of all cultures and would pass laws based on the opinions of the people (though would change decisions as see fit so the country does not fail) and would spend most money on Education, Military, Protecting the Environment, and Business Markets. In fact, I made two nations online that would basically be what I would want my own country to be like (although I can't make my actual opinions effect the laws of the nations, seeing as I have to choose from pre-determined choices) early in 2014 just because it seemed like an interesting idea at the time.

Location: Roughly corresponding to somewhere in Alpine Europe (westernmost point in Lyon, France; northernmost point in northwestern Bavaria, Germany; easternmost point on the Hungarian border and the southernmost point at around Emilia-Romagna).
