Not because if the possibility that they are related....even if they were distant cousins, I wouldn't care. Sh*t, irl, I'm sure a horse has "gotten down" with a blood relatives. It happens all the time in the animal kingdom and no one seems to care that much. I don't support incest among humans, but it happens too. Actually....I think in some places, it's actually legal for cousins or distant cousins to have relationships? But I don't see why people automatically pair them just because they blushed. To me, that should be the last reason. Apple Bloom blushed at Maud....I'm pretty sure she wasn't having lesbo thoughts. The Pie Parents blushed at Granny Smith....I mean everyone did it...so the blushing isn't really a big reason in my opinion. I think the only reason why I find them cute together, is because both are shy. I think that's the main reason....and though this reason is pretty silly, I'm not afraid to admit it. Their possible family tie is so very distant, it actually can't be confirmed. Having said that, Fluttershy better make her move before Marble Pie steals her Stoic Stallion! It either is budding or already there, no halfsies for this show. Still, I'll ship em. They look too cute together not too. Also, they are too distant for there to be any real genetic risk. The director also said that they are too distant to be considered as incestious. Do you think Cheerilee is no longer a case for Big Mac from now on? Or is it just a single one shot moment never to be referenced again? Or is it a future plot development to make Pie's and Apples connected as one big family when two of them get married?What part of THEY'RE RELATED is so difficult to understand. Pinky even reaffirms it at the beginning of the episode. "Apples and Pies together again for the first time... maybe. Unless we're related, which maybe we're not."
