Did Pinkie follow Twilight to the human world in the first EG movie?

So... here's my crazy theory. I think, in the first Equestria Girls movie, the pony Pinkie actually jumped through the portal with Twilight, like Spike did. This would explain how she knew about Twilight's circumstances ("You're from an alternate world and you're a pony princess there and the crown actually has a magical element embedded in it that helps power up other magical elements, and without it they don't work anymore, and you need them all to help protect your magical world, and if you don't get the crown tonight, you'll be stuck in this world and you won't be able to get back for like, a really, really long time!") and how, in Equestria, she knew about what happened in the human world ("[He just] totally reminds you of a guy you met in the other world who played guitar, was in a band, and helped prove you didn't destroy all the decorations for a big dance, so you could still run for princess of the big dance, and then asked you to dance at that dance?!")

 

So what are your thoughts? Did pony Pinkie follow Twilight into the human world? Does the real human Pinkie live on a rock farm somewhere? I really want your opinions. :squee:

Yeah, it probably is. Just thought it was an interesting theory.

Well if you've seen Pinkie Knows then its sorta suggestive that how she knows isn't so random, but how do we know for sure.

It is a reasonable theory, although from the second and third movies is seems pretty apparent that there is an actual human pinkie in the human world while Pony Pinkie is in equestria. The way the other human characters interact with her and conversations they have imply that she's there all the time.

 

However, in the episode "Too Many Pinkie Pies" she didn't discover that pool, she already knew about it, what it did, and how to use it. and since no other Pony has really mentioned it before or since. It seems like something that 1. Only Pinkie knows about, and 2. She had experience of using before. Which suggests to me - Portal. So maybe Pinkie is a 4th wall breaker because she's a whole bunch of different Pinkies that randomly swap between different dimensions just for fun, and the Too Many episode was the only time when a number of them all gathered in the same place, rather than just swapping on a one to one basis

 

I like to think that when Twi zapped them, they all just returned to their original world except the Pinkie that actually belonged there, and one of the reasons that she was the only one left at the end, is that if Twilight did zap her she wouldn't go anywhere, it would deflect to the nearest other Pinkie

No, she didn't follow Twilight through the portal. She didn't have to. Pinkie Pie is actually an omnipotent, god-like being who exists in every possible universe. Remember when Pinkie stole a cake from right in front of Celestia's face in Philomena's episode? Celestia didn't even bat an eyelash. She knows her power is nothing compared the eldritch horror known as Pinkie Pie. :okiedokielokie:

No they are two different Pinkies...however I wouldn't be surprised if they were in contact with one another. 

 

Why would I say that? 

#1 Pinkie has shown aptitude for magic involving Mirrors and or reflective surfaces, and one of her established abilities is that her reflection can operate and move about autonomous to her. Both the Pony Pinkie and the Human Pinkie are capable of this.

#2 Pinkie was the one that told Twilight inter-dimensional travel was possible even without the moon. Watch that scene again, she's the one that brings it up first, then Twilight runs with it and macgyver's up the portal. Pinkie was also the one who understood it to the point where she could explain it to the others, something Twilight couldn't do. 

 

It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that they are in contact by whatever magic they share, thus they are both really well informed on the happenings of the other side.

Thanks :) The short version of how it ties in with your theory, is that perhaps the human Pinkie had already been to Ponyville via the Pinkie portal. They do seem to use her as the go to for anything relating to dimension hopping

imagine if pinkie pie was actually my little pony's god, and she simply existed as a pinkie pie avatar to have fun in the world she created :P

I'd rather imagine Equestria being a part of Fantasia from The Neverending Story and will eventually have to compete with The Nothing destroying our hopes and dreams.

lol my post actually borders a bit too close on spiritual truth - in my faith we believe that every person is an avatar of god injecting itself into gods own reality "game" to experience it hehe..

I don't think so, seeing as all of them were waiting for Twiliy there at the end. They would definetely have noticed Pinkie going through the portal. The reason as to why she knew everything is simple. The Pink One Is All Seeing.

Pinkie doesn't need something as mundane as a portal to cross dimensions. Pinkie's conscious is super transcendental and is capable of existing in multiple dimensions at the same time. XD

My headcanon as to why human Pinkie Pie is so insightful is that this is her equivalent to pony Pinkie Pie's Pinkie Sense. In either universe, Pinkie is slightly psychic, it just shows in different ways.
