As a pack a day smoker, and something who codified a hands off approach to banning casual mentions of smoking comments of MLPF (that, vaping, and non underage drinking is allowed to be casually mentioned here), this may come across as odd that I would lock this topic. That said, the OP is basically set up as a 'smokers only' lounge. No. We don't get to do that on this forum. We do not get to choose to have a safe place where we can tell people to stop commenting on the health issues. Not here anyway. We want to smoke, we need to accept the consequences of that action, and that includes people shaking their finger at us. We aren't a protected class. I do not want a topic dedicated to glorifying smoking while at the same time marginalizing the majority of members here.
