After the Friendship Games when Cinch got defeated what happened to the Shadowbolt's when they returned to Crystal Prep? Did Crystal Prep get a new Principal? Is Cinch still there? What do you think happened?

I think they just returned to Crystal Prep honestly. I don't see why'd they stay at Canterlot high except sci twi. In the alternate ending sci twi becomes friends with all the shadowbolts and return to Crystal Prep. I guess you could their good now? Idk they didn't have much character development to officially say they were villains but I still really like them ( especially Sour Sweet )

 

As for Cinch I'd probably say she's long gone and we'll never see her again. There would be no point in bringing her back. I mean seriously what could she do that's so big and horrible that we need to see her again. Hasbro would be better off bringing the dazzlings back ( which I hope they do ).

Cinch left quietly at the end because she didn't want to damage her reputation by telling anyone about things they wouldn't believe - ie all the magic related stuff

 

So the conclusion of the movie is that she kept her position by keeping quiet, the Shadowbolts themselves were encouraging Twilight to use the magic, but seemed to change their opinion after seeing the consequences that it had on her. So that suggests their attitudes before the end of the movie were more due to being a bit misguided and naive, than actually not caring about the damage it could do as long as they got the outcome they wanted (ie Like Cinch)

 

So probaly Crystal Prep is now like many other schools, and run by a grumpy old principal that the students don't really like or pay much attention to

They probably returned to Crystal Prep and began focusing on lightening the mood there, probably with Cinch trying to block their efforts. Alternatively, Cinch might see the potential for "camaraderie" and begin fostering friendship and loyalty around her school, if only as another way of beating Canterlot High, though I doubt she herself would value friendship as anything but a tool.  She might even corrupt it.

Cinch learned a lesson about forcing her students to use unstable magic and later died chocking on a Wendy's checken nugget.

With her gone, Cedence took her place, ruling the school with a firm but gentle hand.

The students would be hard-pressed to find evidence to prove anything she does, like her blackmailing Twilight. She is devious, cunning and has lots of influence and, most importantly, holds almost absolute power over everyone at her school. I dare say that's what could make her a great villain in a series. Think of it as the students as the Rebel Alliance and Cinch as Darth Vader or Moff Tarkin.

I think they got a new principal, sucked up the fact that they were defeated, and everything went back to normal.
