What's your dream episode?

This is something I've wanted to hear about for a while now. So, let's get to it:

If an episode of Friendship is Magic could have any plot, or any event occur, as long as it stayed within the show's rating, what would you have it be?

Essentially, what's your dream episode? Who would it star, what would happen in it, who would write it? Anything can happen, so go wild! Well, not anything anything. It has to stay within the show's rating and standards.

I suppose the only real way to start off a thread like this is to give my own dream episode. You know, for example and all. And, well, I'm gonna go all out on mine. I in no way expect anyone else to go into as much depth as I'm going to, but I put a lot of thought into this. Like, an unhealthy amount. I have too much free time.

I want an Evil Belle episode!

I'm not kidding!

I want an episode where Sweetie Belle turns evil! I don't care how they do it. Twilight spell gone wrong, Alicorn Amulet-esque artifact, I don't care. Make her evil.

Why Sweetie Belle, you ask? Well, a lot of you have probably heard this before, but I'm gonna explain it for those who haven't. Take a good look at Sweetie Belle. She's cunning, manipulative, was bullied in childhood, has an off relationship with her older sister, and fell behind as one of the slower kids in her class. Yes, she has all the makings of a future super villain. The thing is, she has good morals, preventing her from doing anything despicable. She almost did do something despicable in For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils, the only thing holding her back being Princess Luna.

Now imagine, for a moment, something strips away these morals. She no longer worries about hurting others or the reprucussions of her actions. The only thing she cares about is getting her way. And what's stopping her? The Mane Six don't want to hurt her, she's a good friend (family in Rarity's case) and they know that what she's doing isn't her fault. The Princesses have morals against hurting children, and it's not like they ever do anything anyway. Nothing's standing in her way.

As for the episode itself, here's how I picture it: The first act should be spent setting up the catalyst. It has to be explained, whatever it is, but not through an exposition dump. Just enough explanation so that it makes sense. Of course, Sweetie Belle has to be there. She could be with Rarity, although being with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo would be preferable. Her reason for being there has to make sense. I'd say probably three or so minutes in, our catalyst strikes Sweetie Belle. The others ask if she's alright, and she replies that she's fine. She doesn't seem too out of the ordinary, but the audience can see that something is off. Throughout the rest of the first act, it should be shown that odd things are happening in the town. The Mane Six should be looking into what's happening, but be unable to find anything. The CMC should be there, and we should once again see that something's off with Sweetie. She shouldn't be acting malicious, just strange. At the end of the first act, Sweetie's true colors are relealed to the audience.

The second act should be devoted to watching our now revealed-to-be-evil Sweetie Belle carry through with her plans. It can't be repetative, and it has to hold our attention. It would be good if she were pestered by the other Crusaders, in a way that annoys her, but not us. They're concerned about Sweetie, especially when she snaps at them to stop bothering her. Though we should be reminded that, even in this state, Sweetie Belle still cares about the other Crusaders and doesn't want them to come in harm's way. At this point, the Mane Six, most likely Twilight, should have started piecing things together, and just before the third act begins, she realizes what's happening and races away to go fix Sweetie Belle.

But it's too late! The third act picks up and Sweetie Belle is well on her way to victory. Twilight can't get close enough to cure her and Rarity can't through to her. This would be a good place to see some drama between Sweetie and Rarity. Without her morals, Sweetie could really rip into everything that she hates about Rarity. This scene would have to be written very carefully, though. One misstep and the fandom will hate Sweetie's guts. So if nobody can touch her and her family can't get through to her, who will save the day? Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, of course! Think about it; this would be a great chance to show just how strong the bond between the CMC has grown. They remind her of her morals, who she really is, the good times she's had with them and Rarity and everyone else, all the reasons she has not to destroy Equestria and, most importantly, they remind her of their shared Cutie Marks. They can get through to her, if only enough for Twilight to carry through with the cure. The ending can't be a copy-paste of Secret of My Excess, though. That's one of the reasons I think Apple Bloom and Scootaloo are the prime contendors to save Sweetie, not Rarity. So blah blah blah Sweetie appologizes and everyone's happy and we get the moral.

Moral? I don't really care what the moral is, just as long as we get Evil Belle. As for the writer... I'm thinking Megan McCarthy. Either her or Corey Powell. But Powell's track record is iffy, I mean she did Sleepless in Ponyville and Inspiration Manifestation, which were good episodes, but she also did Rainbow Falls, which was a bad episode, and Just for Sidekicks, which was a meh episode. So probably McCarthy.

...that was lengthy. So anyway, what do you guys want to see out of the show? I'm really interested to see everybody's ideas, and what everybody thinks of each other's ideas! I think we could probably create some really good ideas by building on top of each others' ideas. Who knows, maybe someday we'll actually get episodes similar to what we imagine here in the future!

Oh, and if anybody says Slice of Life 2, they will get a... very stern talking to.

Tired from work.so this will be unusually short. My dream episodes:

1. SUNSET Shimmer visits Equestria
2. At least one of the main six ships become canon
3. Pinkie Pride 2: Pinkie vs Flufflepuff
4. Brony oc's meet vs Canon ponies
5. Shining Armor and Twilight babysit princess Skyla and things go wrong (wasn't my original idea)
6. An episode centered around Applejack and how she lost her parents or at least confirming if they are deceased
7. Sunset shimmer visits equestria (yes I said it twice)

Any episode written by McCarthy.

Any episode written by M.A.Larson.

Return of Pinkamania.

More G1 villains.

A Diamond Tiara episode.

Lightning Dust and Wind Rider come back for revenge.

Too many wishes, I have to stop right there.....

A two parter that focuses on one of the OTHER five of the mane six besides twilight as the focus character for once. Instead of having the episode and plot be tailored to and built up around twilight and her learning a lesson, do it for one of the other five, like what Dragonshy was for Fluttershy in Season 1.

Twilight and Trixie in a duo episode having to solve a situation or problem with Trixie's show magic ending up being the key to things in the end rather than "real" magic.

I'll second an Lightning dust/wind rider episode

An episode where RD decides that the wonderbolts were a great goal, but after dealing with them and seeing what the group was about in life, that she'd rather do something else in life.

An earth pony villain or Pegasi villain that's actually a credible threat on par with Unicorn villains that have been shown.

I'd love to see a two-parter revolve around a villain who's motives and believes are in conflict with those of Equestria but who isn't portrayed as being in the wrong based on those ideas.  For example, this anatgonist is for free will, and thinks the idea that a cutie mark defines you and is your destiny repulsive, yet is shown in a sympathetic light.  Basically I would love to see someone like Zaheer from Legend of Korra as a villain, basically an extremist whose ideas are considered good even by the heroes. Or someone like Darth Vader. (Course in my head I'd also make this pony be Fluttershy's brother in league with the Anti-Tree of Harmony, and have his powers be distilled from negativitly/The Dark Side that the Anti-Tree gives him)

Yes to the first one, so much! As to the second one, in my headcanon Pegasus can airbend.

I want to see RainbowDash get knocked down a peg.

Have her get beaten badly by SpitFire in a race and she finally admits "Maybe i'm not the perfect flyer"

I would suggest an episode where Twilight's Canterlot Friends have to come to Ponyville because of some emergency or something involving the Mane 6 or Twilight being sent by the map to Canterlot to help Moondancer with something, Probably an exam or a feud between her and her friends.

Sleepless in Ponyville is it

Assuming that any lesbian ship, nomatter how innocent, is beyond the show's rating, then the next thing I'd most like to see is a day in the life of Princess Celestia.

An episode where Spike is competent as the central character.

Trixie portrayed in a more positive light.

The CMC helping other foals get their cutie marks.

An episode about Rarity's or Twilight's parents.

I really want a Silver Spoon episode. I don't care what it's about, even if it's something insane like her teaming up with Discord.

Also a Pinkie Pie episode where she helps out a group of orphan fillies.

Rainbow Dash tries to prove to Scootaloo's parents(who are over-protective as fuck) that she's a good role model, fails horribly at first, but then comes through at the end.

Basically a "role model with pimples" story. RD isn't a perfect role model but she tries, and it gives us an excuse to see Scootaloo's parents

Future episode wish list, and here we go!

-A Celestia episode, doesn't matter what plot as long as it's a good one.

-Rara, Octavia, Vinyl music collaboration would be -beep-ing awesome!

-Episode of Luna converting to Nightmare Moon, but somehow she is still Luna if you get what I mean. I know, I know, but I can dream can I?

-Chrysalis returning.

-Sombra returning as well and hope for more character development.

-Bat pony race.

-A Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon episode.

-The Changeling from Slice Of Life masquerading as a random pony, but is not an evil one.

-Super Filly talking and hoping she be a supporting character. And those who're wondering who is Super Filly, well here she is, not her official name though, I just call her that because she's friggin' strong.

I proposed this episode long before Twilight became a Princess, and even the episode "It's About Time". Here is the slightly revamped version to take that into account...

Rainbow Dash is practicing her Sonic Rainboom, unmindful that the other Pegasi are setting up a late summer thunderstorm. Making one last Rainboom, Rainbow is struck by lightning. The speedster is hurled decades, perhaps centuries into the future. Rainbow is confused and saddened by what she sees. Ponyville, Cloudsdale, and all of Equestria lay in ruin. There are very few ponies to bee seen, and monsters roam the countryside. Rainbow is attacked, but is saved at the last second by a gigantic purple and green dragon. The dragon doesn't speak, but smiles and takes Rainbow to his cave. There, she meets wise old Professor Twilight (She renounced her royalty after the disaster) Twilight explains that the day Rainbow vanished, Equestria was attacked by evil pony-like beings from another world. Without Rainbow, the five remaining friends could not summon Rainbow magic. Equestria fell, and Twilight was the only survivor of the group. Now, Equestria has one final chance. Twilight must use the very last of her magic to somehow send Rainbow back to her proper time. Once there, Rainbow must use the knowledge Twilight gathered on the aliens over the years to help young Princess Twilight defeat them!

I hate to sound cynical in my reasoning her, but that would never occur. Specifically, the meta reason is that it looks like it would be a two parter or at least a very heavy focus adventure episode, and all prior such episodes have revolved around twilight as the Central character and use her as the focus character of the episode.

So from a meta perspective I could never see this happening due to out of universe forces on the show :P

Well, the title of the thread is "What's your dream episode?", so I posted my dream episode.  One more thing. The beauty of my episode idea, is that if Rainbow pulls it off, the episode never actually happens. It'll be like Kim Possible "A Sitch in Time" Once things are set right, the alternate timeline never existed. Rainbow wouldn't even remember it.

I want an episode that deals with white lies and how sometimes you have to tell them rather than saying the truth. I do believe Gravity Falls has an episode based around this topic. Telling the truth is fine and all, but you shouldn't be doing it all the time. Knowing when to tell a white lie to spare the feelings of others is a really important moral to learn about life, but unfortunately you don't see it all too often in cartoons.

Of course, it would be an Applejack episode. It'll be an interesting deconstruction on her good attitude and how she treats others. I don't think an episode like this one would ever be made, but I can always dream. :P
