Really happy to see a new Pokémon game with different gameplay. I always wanted to see a 3D manual fighting style game.

 

What do you think about it? Do you want to see this kind of battle system back in the official games?

I've been saying for years that Pokemon needed a legitimate fighting game. I got bored of the main franchise after Gold and Silver and only recently played again with X.

 

I hope they change up the formula more often because it's unlikely I'll ever play the main series again after Pokken Tournament. The old formula does nothing for me.

Looking forward to it! I love the detailed graphics!   I would like many more Pokemon to play as though; I know some more have been revealed, and others I haven't seen yet. It looks very enjoyable, and has a good rating. I'll certainly buy it.

It's the kind of Pokemon game we've all wanted since we saw the anime. While turn-based will always be great, I'm so glad we finally have a chance to have real-time combat. I just hope the roster is massive. That will determine how good the game will be.

I have to admit that I'm interested. I love my fighting games and pokemon is a series that I still kinda like. But I do have to also admit that I'm more a fan of traditional "airdash" fighters like BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth and so on.

 

Still it looks interesting enough to try.

While I don't think this should replace the battle system in standard Pokemon games, this game itself is one I am really looking forward to. Tekken style fighting gameplay with Pokemon? That sounds like a dream come true.

I'm not that into fighting games with the only exception of Dead or Alive. Although I'm interested in this since i'm a Pokemon fan and this seems like a nice different change than the mainline games.
