Decisions of what to do with the OCs will probably be made by the creators on a case by case basis. If you work with someone on an OC, everyone should agree before it can be given away.

I edited my post because it seems my setup is being misinterpreted, I originally meant for the site's database to be used as a template for creating the OCs as it is an effective tool for guiding people to create good, well thought out OCs. Don't worry about it too much yourself, you didn't know. I will however make it a rule in the upcoming themes. I post at midnight EST (USA), as we go from Friday into Saturday. Both week's themes are options on Saturday, but on Sunday, the previous week's theme is over.

This Week: Temporal Distortions!

 

You know that one holiday very few people actually care about, or do you only know about that one movie where Bill Murray lives out the same day over and over? Well Groundhog Day is this week and to celebrate, the theme for this week is Time. To fit this theme, we suggest an OC that is living in the wrong time period, or somepony who manipulates time, although there may be other ways to fit this theme, which you are welcome to try. You could have a Cave Pony thawed from the glaciers of the frozen North, or a cyborg sent back in time to save Equestria, or even an Earth pony scientist tinkering with devices designed to manipulate time. Hurry ponies, the clock is ticking!

Penny Buttercup is a chocolate making Unicorn who owns a shop in Canterlot. She has a chocolate colored mane and a peanut butter colored coat, and she has brown freckles (a detail I'm adding to visually aid the peanut butter look by adding that little bit of texture). She makes magic chocolates with different spells imbedded in them.

I'm so sorry everyone, I forgot to post the theme this week. I've had a lot going on. Without further delay I give you this week's theme:

 

Deer-ly Beloved

 

I know, bad puns, and Valentine's Day has already passed, but the chocolates are still on the shelves at least. Anyway, this is another case of @P-Jay's premonitions. I haven't really seen a lot of deer OCs myself, but they are cannon as they appeared in one of the comics. They're even an option in Equestrian Empire roleplays. I'm still going to keep the themes simple for now, but they will eventually become more complex. You have been warned.

 

This week, OCs may be judged and whomever's OC is determined to be the best overall concept (we're not judging images, just the profile), will have the opportunity to come up with a new theme for an upcoming week!

I'm more of a...solo artist to say the least. I find it hard to actually work with other people, and I just get a good feeling from doing everything on my own.

That's right, this week marks the beginning of March, and with it comes the saying "In like a lion, out like a lamb." So this week, the theme is focused on personalities, the goal being to create OCs that show lion-like qualities. Just Ponies!

 

I'm on vacation this week, so I decided I'd take a vacation from creating a theme as well. But fret not! There is still something here for you! Next Saturday, I will pick one OC from what's submitted this week, and I will draw that OC as best I can.
