Your MLP Family Tree

So to anyone who has made a ponysona, have you ever wondered what your family would be in the MLP universe?

 

Maybe you have family abroad, so in the Equestria, you would have family living in the Crystal Empire, or maybe you'd be a zebra, living in a foreign country if you're an immigrant.

 

Would your family be full of Pegasus? Earth ponies? Unicorns?

 

For example, my family history on Earth had my distant grandfather (on my father's side) working as a war drummer in the civil war, tales passed through our family claim that he could play a drum roll so fast that the air coming out of the hole  blew hard enough to extinguish a kerosene lamp. After that, however, my father's family was mostly doomed to live their lives as coal miners, an infamously horrible occupation with a high mortality rate, low pay, and little opportunity for advancement for both yourself, and your next of kin due to the towns built around coal mines that kept many families from ever escaping the deadly line of work. Once better labor laws were established in America, however, my grandfather (who married a cake baker and decorator who graduated from the Wilton school of cake decoration) became a factory worker, becoming one of the first to not have to work in a coal mine. And my father after him joined the air force. He had been stationed in many places, at home and abroad, but gave birth to me in San Antonio, Texas shortly before being moved to Washington DC, where he actually got to work in the White House. A few years later, he quit and has had a few different jobs in which he uses the skills he learned in the Air Force.

 

My mother's side of the family is a lot less detailed, with most of them working in health care. My grandma was a nurse, my aunt is a nurse (who married a pit crew worker for Indycar Racing), and my mother is a respiratory therapist. I am unsure of my family history on my mother's side beyond that.

 

So, in the MLP world, My family tree would look something like this:

 

My father's family consists mostly of Earth ponies, starting with my distant grandfather, who served in the war against Discord on his first skirmish against Equestria. After Discord's petrification, my ancestors worked on one of Equestria's many rock farms until my grandfather finally broke the chain. He became a factory worker and married a pegasus baker who specialized in wedding cakes (and never had a late delivery due to her flying speed). My father was born a Pegasus, who wound up training at the wonderbolt academy, and working under their management. He was stationed all across Equestria, but wound up giving birth to me in Appleoosa shortly before being stationed in Canterlot where he worked at the royal palace. A few years later, he quit and began working with the skills that he learned during his years of service.

 

My mother's family mostly consists of unicorns, where I got the genes to be one, myself, I guess. Not much here to change, nurses still exist in Equestria, although, my uncle (the pit crew worker) would more likely be a Pegasus working for racers in flying competitions in Cloudsdale (At least I'd assume Indiana, the home of the Indianapolis 500 would be the equivalent of Cloudsdale:p )

No family tree for me I entered the world and was transformed in the process..

As such, No parents + no children = No family tree..

My ponysona, unlike the actual me, has no family. His backstory is that he used to be human, that human is me, but then an asteroid coming from a universe that allowed matter to travel faster than the speed of light hit Earth and then I somehow survived. I then landed in a soft area, was ponified, and everyone else on Earth had died so I became one who lives on my own. So no OC family tree.
