If anything he seemed to be looking through Copper to something else. He turned back towards Dinky, the fatherly smile back on his face. "Princess Sparkle would definitely be a good pony to learn from, I'm sure you'll do great in time." Midnight remembered Gari had always been an excellent teacher of magic, and each one more magically gifted than the last. He thought about offering her services to teach Dinky magic, but decided against it, he wouldn't want to make Ditzy think she should give up her child for a bit. "Well, I expect I'll hear great things about you two in the future. I really should get going now though, it is getting kind of late and traveling by train has always taken quite a bit out of me. Copper yawned, saying, "Those train rides took a bit out of me as well. I need some sleep myself. Goodnight, you two." After giving their good-nights, they split up and went to their homes, Copper keeping pace with Midnight. When they got to Copper's house, Copper opened the door for entering, and said, "So you'll be leaving soon, depending on how tomorrow goes? That's a shame. We each spent our time in the other's world and the time is swiftly coming where we will have to part ways. There is no shame there." He sighed, "Don't worry about visiting Archback again so soon, you have a nice life here with ponies that care about you, they are far more deserving of your attention than I am." Midnight was simply tired, and though he tried hard not to show it, he was really beginning to worry about the Order and their progress without him. "I know I'll see them again, and perhaps this time apart will be good for them, I just don't want to have been gone when they needed me. I know it may be a silly thought, they're all full grown adults and they can handle themselves, I just hope they're ready for what's coming. They're so close to achieving what all the generations before them had sought." He couldn't shake the feeling that he should have waited a bit longer before coming with Copper, should have made sure that they would be alright. "I guess I could wander around town today, see if anything catches my interest. Other than that I'll be packing up tonight so I can get an early start on the trip back tomorrow. After finishing, he took his plate and put it in his dishwasher, which appeared to be nearly full. "Better dry my dishes once I get back from Archback for another time." The area around his hoof shimmered as he swept a foreleg across his end of the table, quickly and easily gathering any residue that remained on the table.
