general Liberal or Conservative?

Moderate liberal on social issues, centrist on fiscal issues. I agree with many things I read and hear from liberal friends and media (not the Young Turks though, they're just obnoxious). Conservative messages, not so much. Conservatism in my country is just too extreme.

I believe I would be considered a Democratic Socialist, though a little less to the left than Bernie Sanders.

I believe that Bernie Sanders is the only person who can save this nation from it's collapse. Raise the taxes on super rich bigots like Trump. Most of them owe society a lot of money anyways.

My political compass read (-4.13, -4.97). I believe it's approximately correct, but I'm probably more on the Libertarian angle than it said. Not too much more, but at least -5.5 IMO.

Huh. I thought most people here would be liberals, I'm kind of surprised. I'm not saying you have to be liberal or anything btw.

I hate the way my village is with politics. If you say something remotely conservative you will be slated to hell and back. You're not allowed a different opinion here at all. My dad is the same, it pisses me off a bit.

I'm a right leaning libertarian.

I've got no use for either the extreme right or left. It's unfortunate that the two opposing sides end up shouting over the majority of us that sit somewhere in the middle.

When I was in high school I took a Politcal Spectrum Survey in my government class. When I took the survey I got liberal. My teacher saw the results and was surprised I got liberal. You see, I live in Texas which is a very conservative state. So, after we took the survey we split into two groups Conservatives and liberals. In class of about 20 people one girl and I were the only liberals, in the class. Later at lunch my friends and I were talking about there results. When I said I got liberal one of the people in my group said "Fuck You" to me. That caught me off guard. I've been hanging out with this guy for several months, just because I was a liberal he found that offensive.

In Norway I am considered somewhat conservative (kind of centre right-ish).

In international standards, I am pretty liberal.

I mostly support the Christian Democratic Party (Krf). Don't let the name fool you though, it's not the usual "christian" party, for one they have been working hard to improve conditions for refugees. I identify with most of their values. Especially when it comes to social aspects like retirement and other subjects LGBT rights etc.

Moderate, I used to be far left, flirting with the Socialist and Communist ideas.

Now as I stated I am a moderate, though it could be said I do still think some ideas from the far left (and far right, fascism) could work, some but not all.

As of the current situation, I'd say both sides have been particularly obnoxious as of late and have in a sense gone off the edge.

Just about the same here, for a good long while I took to Socialism and Fascism(Over two different time periods for obvious reasons, was serious about it too). Though now that I look back on such idk how I truly thought such was a good idea, good ideas found within each to pick and choose though(As to why I am moderate).

I'm a Centralist with liberal leanings. Pretty much because anything that the Conservatives consider to be "impartial" these days to be liberal, and anything Conservative these days is batshit nuts.

Conservative all the way.

Why? I just agree with the stances.

I suppose you'd call me a Conservative Independent.

I'll vote for anyone I think will do that best job. But that's usually the Republicans.

Looking at things from a worldly perspective, I'd say I'm pretty set in the middle, possibly leaning slightly liberal.

But in terms of American politics, this puts me far, far left of both the Republican and Democrat parties. Basically, even the Democrats--the less conservative party of the two--are too conservative for my tastes.

I am completely liberal on nearly every issue.  :D  Conservatives these days seem to be spew way too much discriminatory, racist, homophobic garbage to even be taken seriously on social issues at all.

The American dreams is basically gone because of all this crony capitalism, we need real CHANGE. Things won't get better if we cling to conservatism.

Here's my political compass,

Economic Left/Right: -6.5
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.13 Edited by Hovershy

I guess I could call myself a right-leaning libertarian.  I don't believe in big government.  I think the people should have control.  America needs to be fixed, and Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton will only destroy our country.

:D

Liberal democrat.

Seeing as I was raised in a school, house, etc, where everyone was a left-winged, liberal, democrat, it's not surprising.

I just don't agree with a lot of things that conservatives say to begin with, especially when it comes to race, sex, and abortion.
