Eriza noticed the arcs of lightning coming from the ground. She did a few hand gestures before quickly slamming her palms to the floor causing the Chakra in the arcs of lightning to implode onto itself creating a small implosion before it reached its destination.

 

"Good form... But it could use a little more work" She smiled from underneath her mask. Eriza quickly clenched her left fist causing Blitz's body to stiffen. "Now, if you wanted to play so badly, you could've just asked" She added.

Blink had already dodged the trees and debris and he noticed Blitz beginning a fight with two of his foes.

He jumped down next to Blitz, hands in his pockets.

"2v2, I like this odds." He grinned menacingly, looking at them with his one healthy eye, the other staying hidden under his bandanna.

“Jake, let me handle this” Hyde requested from his mind. Though he still harbored hatred towards her, He was intrigued be her confidence in the situation.

“Alright” Jake giggled surrendering control.

“Now then, Let’s get this over with” Hyde smirked walking forward along with wolf, fitting his hands smuggly in his coat pockets. “Show us what you’ve got Akatsuki girl” He snickered as he awaited Wolf’s commands.

As Wolf took note of the sudden explsion, she swiftly weaved a hand sign.

"Snow style: Blizzard chains!

With that, a series of large chains made of snow sphered and soun around her, deflecting the debris of the trees, rocks, and everything else.

Once the explosion settled to the point where she could release her jutsu, she rested her hands to her sides and looked at the Akatsuki members in front of her.

"Come on, now. That was bit extreme, wouldn't you say? You guys certainly weren't around when I was a member of the Akatuski... I'm glad about that because I can tell we would have gotten into some pretty bad fights. ...Especially you, Eriza" 

Wolf said with an obvious attitude. She then configured another hand sign.

"Snow style: Snowflake sword dance!"

 

And with that, a circle of 7 swords made of snow circled around her, ready to strike at the Akatsuki members at any moment.

 

She then looked around, making sure that everyone else was unharmed.

"Ara~...the mangey dog has come back with a  new pack, now you'll have to excuse the young one, He's new..." Eriza acknowledged wolf with a calm yet belittling tone, her eyes slowly gazing around at the group of Shinobi sent for her. "Interesting…."

"Ms. Heart, I never took you for the dishonourable type" She smirked. "your family would be absolutely ruined when word gets out that a member of their clan turned on their clients" She added ,her voice calm yet strict.

 

“No matter….” She sighed , focusing the chakra on her palms. “Your family would be too busy mourning your death to care about their business.”

Blitz growled as he felt Eriza take control of his body. He hadn't expected her to be able to cancel out his jutsu and his anger only spiked when she threatened Wolf. "Really. I figured they would be happy for her for finding a better life, instead of being just above slaves to you people." He muttered, giving a slight smirk. The ninja could do anything at the moment, but figured he could at least try to get on someone's nerves.

Hidden could hear footsteps from behind his right side. A few meters away, Suikoro stood ready to execute his orders. No one had noticed him before, because he'd actually travelled around the field after the battle had began. Suddenly, SuiKoro raised his right hand with a finger shotgun gesture, aiming at Hidden's right shoulder and without using hand signs, he shot 3 Shikotsumyaku drilling round point bullets, faster than anyone's kunai throwing speed and capable of delivering flesh piercing and bone shattering impact without exit wounds. Suikoro wants to focus on just this target, leaving Musashi with whatever freshmeat lay to waste... wherever he might be.

Eriza's palms began glowing as her ally set forth the dominoes. "Excellent timing, Suikoro" She praised him. Other Shinobi wearing akatsuki uniforms and strange animal-like masks began showing themselves from the forest canopies surrounding the group  , first a handful, then 50!...then 100!.

 

All in all about 100 of them began staring at the group from the tree tops , many of them looked to be incredibly powerful. Some wielding large and ancient weapons , others carrying puppets of all sorts and sizes, others still looked quite strange and horrific.

 

 

(OOC: These are actually just Eriza's Gen Jutsu,  along with about 10 shadow clones dressed in different attire. Knowing this , I'd request that your OCs don't "immediately" find out.)

"I have no idea what she is thinking at times."

 

That was terrifying part about Eriza. Xenneth could only stop after leaping from the falling pieces of debris and landing right before Wolf's group. The idea was to close the range between himself and the group of ninja, but that seemed unnecessary at this point. The batallion summoned around them seemed to be massive...or was it? Xenneth could not tell. Another terrifying thing about the Akatsuki. Even his powerful perception of hearing was affected by their genjutsu. This was unusual for his tribe as a whole.

 

The numbers were no doubt to intimidate and Xenneth saw this as a blessing. Maybe they would reconsider fighting? He even halted his very own attack, simply standing a few meters in range between himself and the ninja. The seven swords were detectable to his ears. There was nothing like a forest breeze being sliced by a blade or the other way around. It was a sound he heard a thousand times over and evaded more than half the times for the sake of survival.

 

"Are you sure you all would rather not surrender?" he asked once more as his foggy eyes stared to the group, "M-maybe...maybe the terms could remain the same. Ms. Eriza can be quite forgiving sometimes."

 

 He truly felt for them.

 

As a victim as well as a part of the unit, he knew this was a hopeless situation for the ninja that faced him. However, his stature was still menacing as he stood in front of the group of ninja, his right leg drawn back while the other was balancing on the front ball of his foot. He was prepared to go back on the offensive had they refused, and it was not like he had a choice: the policy for rebellion against the organization was like law to the little rabbit slaves.

 

His right foot had crunched through the dirt under his feet as it suddenly became like sand around his heel for some reason.

Blitz simply frowned and narrowed his eyes as he noticed the hundred other akatsuki members surrounding himself and his group. "What exactly are you planning?" He asked, before sitting on the ground. He figured that if they were going to die, then he might as well learn something. "I mean, taking over the world is a bit to cliche so I figured you would at least come up with something better."

Blitz simply frowned and narrowed his eyes as he noticed the hundred other akatsuki members surrounding himself and his group. "What exactly are you planning?" He asked, before sitting on the ground. "Taking over the world?" Eriza giggled, her tone almost friendly. "We are going to SAVE the world" She remarked as if she had said that lined hundreds of times in the past.  "You've never experienced war now,  have you?" She asked. "The Chaos , The fear, The pain, ...The desperation" She added, her voice forcing herself on the last words as if it held weight in her past. 

 

"All I ever wanted..." She uttered , holding back the pain. She remained silent for a few moments as the world appeared to stand still before she finally spoke. "was to take the guns away..." 

 

Eriza took a deep breath , regaining her composure. "As the leader of the Akatsuki, I wish to save this world by relieving it of it's horrid addiction to Chakra....I don't care if they see me as a monster...if It means the prevention of war and suffering....then so be it!" She  proclaimed her voice stern with absolute certainty.

He looked around the group, he still had new friends to protect, as well as the people back home, he wouldn't lose to some deranged lunatics.

He reached into his bag, pulling out a poison tipper dagger.

And suddenly, he was gone.

As quickly as he disappeared he reappeared behind Erza, holding his dagger to her neck, the poison warm on her skin.

If he was going out, he'd at least take a punch at the leader.

Wolf knew that yelling at everyone to hold their ground was futile, considering everyone seemed to be ready to go at full force. She glanced at Eriza and smiled. "You haven't changed at all, have you, darling? You're still just as persistant as ever. You Akatsuki are such an interesting organization".

Wolf then noticed Blink appear from behind Eriza, holding a dagger to her neck. She also caught sight of Hidden, about to use his ice jutsu.

"Don't kill anyone just yet"

"Well, who is this now? Suikoro, is it? You look a little young to be caught up in an organization like the Akatsuki.A little F.Y.I for you, darling... I was a member long before you. Don't underestimate me"

Blitz narrowed his eyes as he felt something building within him, an anger as explosive as his lightning. "You think I don't know about pain, suffering, loss." He said. His hair covered his eyes, making it impossible to tell his emotional state. He could feel his chakra shaking, begging to be released as he simply stood and looked around him. Eventually, he turned his attention back to Eriza. At that point, all of the frustration he had been bottling up over the last few years came rushing forward in a massive wave " Don't speak as if you're the only one whose been screwed over by this world. My parents died when I was six, and the rest of my clan followed soon after." He roared. "And even if you do manage to stop people from using chakra, someone'll make another weapon to kill others with. Humanity is just that stupid." The ninja knew he couldn't do anything in such a confined space and there was always a risk of his own attacks hitting his teammates, so it would be best for him to attempt to get information out of Eriza.

Eriza grinned, it was as if they had just given her a thoughtful gift. She clenched her first into a gentle knuckle,the jutsu that had once focused Blitz was now Fulforced at Blink. From a 10 meter distance her Chakra manipulation jutsu would have been strong enough to crash a jounin to the ground but at such close distances as blink was at this moment her jutsus strength was magnified to extremes.

The Chakra pathways in Blinks body felt like it was forcing him to kneel to the ground and his arms crossed in front of him.

"I'm sorry for your loss" She said with a surprisingly sincere tone. "Do you ever think that if we never used Chakra your parents and your clan would still be alive?" She remarked her voice more calm. "No one should be given the power to wipe out clans and villages without a second thought" She stated.

 

"I'm sure they would find another weapon,and when they do, this organization will be there to use it against them, just as we will with jutsus until it is no more. " Eriza remarked. "We will stop them time and time again. It's a war I fight for, even If I die doing so."

"To be honest, no one can really be certain of the future or how it may change. So, I don't really know." Blitz said, showing little emotion. "There are people who use their chakra to help others, though. That's why I became a ninja in the first place. To protect those who can't fight back. Of course that does sound a bit corny now that I say it out loud, but it's pretty much the truth."

Blink felt his knees being forced into the rough ground, forced into sharp rocks and sticks. He could feel blood seeping through the wounds on his knees. He forced his body against the (magic/chakra?) but he could feel his bones splintering. He could barely even lift his head or move a finger.

His narrowed, but it was not bitterly.

 

It was more of that eye narrow you would give when you seen someone you were jealous of. He had no shame. Did anyone see what he was wearing after all? So revealing his envy was not the least bit of his concerns as he gazed at Wolf from a distance. Quickly, his feet moved with the pace above the level of some chunin. A special skill Usagi Sadou, special to the Harusagi clan. Their speed was unmatched when fully developed, but for him, it was enough to move behind a large piece of the butchered tree trunk with adequate speed, and with the left of his right foot pulling back, he kicked forth with tremendous force sending the large piece of wood flying forth into splinters that were like stakes. Each of them aiming towards Wolf and his comrades that stood their ground behind him.

 

However, it was not his intent to hurt them all. It was to quell his own jealous rage!

 

"You're different," his voice soft, but booming even in the rage of battle, "You seem...to care....don't you?"

 

It was a fair, obvious, but not to mention a spiteful question! The very thought of some Akatsuki member who turned to treason and spoke about protecting their teammates was nothing short of an insult. His rage towards Wolf was rational, but misplaced. A part of him cursing at himself for not having the bravado to stand up to Eriza like he was doing now to this Leaf Village ninja. His feet continuing to move as he spun to the next broken piece of tree trunk and kicked once more sending it and the broken pieces flying towards Wolf attempting to seperate her from her allies.

 

"It won't matter," he continued speaking. His tongue still spiteful, "We will see just how long you can keep them safe."

 

He did not aim to kill, but simply to argue.

 

She could not protect everyone. Even he, himself a prince, knew this simple logic! The ninja could not hold off an onslaught towards herself and her allies and lunch an offensive. It would all end as it should, just like it did for him, becoming battered and unable to protect anyone. It was fitting that someone from the Akatsuki should know how that feels force once.

 

...and Xenneth, the master of misery, was the one to teach it.

"Blink! Hang in there, please! I promised that I would protect all of you! Please just hang on!"

Wolf shouted, concern rising in her voice as she took the extent of Blink's injuries. Now, she was getting angry...

Wolf gritted her teeth and shuffled in her position a bit, slightly leaning forward. "You say that i'm different, yeah? Well, I am! I left the Akatsuki because I was literally sickened by all of the unecessary murders and stealing. At first, I didn't mind it, but I realized that it was getting me no where! I have friends now-" she retorted, but cut off by the spear-shaped pieces of wood racing toward her.

 

Wolf still had her jutsu activated from a few minutes ago, and she released it to counter the shards.

"Snow style: Snowflake sword dance!" With that, the makeshift swords left her side and slashed the pieces of wood, preventing them from wounding her. However, one piece did manage to stab right through her ankle, specifically a tendon, causing Wolf to almost collapse, blood pouring from the wound.

Wolf clenched the shard of wood and forcefully yanked it out of her, making her scream. "Ahh! God!". Blood poured out of the wound with more speed now. "Blitz! Please cover me while I try and heal this! Be careful!"

Blitz glanced at Wolf and nodded, figuring that she had just given him permission to use whatever jutsu he could. The fact that he had also regained control of his body only gave him more information about Eriza. The ninja then began to make hand signs in quick succession. The jutsu he had planned needed a lot of oreparatuon and concentration to reach its true power, but there were several other justus that used the same order of hands signs, but were shorter. Even if he didn't reach the end, he would still be able to do something if someone attacked Wolf.

Blood pattering the ground...

 

He knew that sound anywhere. The twitch of the rabbit-like ears were enough to confirm it as Xenneth's eyes only winced knowing he had got a glancing hit. If anything was louder than the words Wolf had cried, it was the sound of her resolve as she shouted her words. Her intention to leave was understandable, resonating with him beyond her wildest imagination. His disposition as he stood his ground was not that of a murderer or a sadist. Even now, he was reminding himself that the woman, the leader was injured.

 

That was enough right....right?!!

 

He only hoped that Eriza called off the attack, but he knew he had a better chance of spotting a candle in a mile of darkness...and he was blind! His lips pressed as he tried to strenghten his resolve once more. Nothing would come of taking it easy except his own death, and at this point, it was more welcoming than the alternative. He moved forth, his will being driven by the thought of the next Harusagi heir having to do this filthy deed. Those sins would fall on him and him alone!

 

"Friends..." he spoke softly while spinning his staff in hand, "I respect that, b-but...I am sorry. It just does not compare to family."

 

The staff spun once more and then suddenly it stuck into the ground with a mighty stab. He was not going to let anyone interfere with his prey. This time, the Wolf would know just how the Rabbit felt when he was helpless and on the defensive. How it would feel to have each of the little bits of family would be devoured. Thing would be different...

 

This time, he would be the predator.

 

"Y-you are a good woman," he complimented Wolf as he made hand-signs in quick succession, "A better person than me...but...these are our choices...now - Harusagi Clan's secret technique. Doton! Usaginoana! (Earth Release: Rabbit Holes)"

 

Instantly, the staff's base broke ground causing small fissures. The amount of chakra expended from Xenneth was massive as they branched to several places at once. Five of them in different places within a hundred yard radiance of them. The other five, apparrent, as they appeared in a star formation with the center being Wolf and what was left of the group he was trying to protect.

 

"You cannot protect everyone... Doton...Moguragakure! (Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole)"

 

Sure, the jutsu's name rung aloud in everyone's ears to know well what the technique was, but the words that Xenneth placed the most emphasis on was his emphasis to Wolf. The five holes opened one-by-one as they seemed to appear in almost seemed random places around the battlefield. But knowing how Xenneth had been using the field to his advantage, they were not random at all as they seemed to be focused near a rotting tree, under a piece of falling debris, one distant from the most at the maximum hundred yard range, and two more that seemed to be near distant.

 

He planned it well...enough to get his point across: that whether the charasmatic leader tried with all her heart or not, someone would suffer.

 

It was almost instantly that Xenneth had sprung from the hole behind Wolf's group. With a swift spin and a powerful leap as he rocketed from the hole, the image of the rabbit-like figure swept from above aiming to make a roundhouse kick towards Wolf that had...no force whatsoever?

Blitz had noticed the attack coming and immediately stopped on a specific hand sign. "Wolf may not be able to protect everyone, but she isn't alone. It's time I show you the dragon's wrath."He said, before his eyes went blank. "Lightning style: Lightning dragon dance." With that, the ninja drew his sword and drove it into the ground. Lightning erupted from the blade and seemed to flow in a serpentine pattern, with one bolt aimed at the rabbit figure. The others seemed to spread and arc around Blitz, as if they were alive. "It may not be the entire thing, but it sure as heck drained a lot of chakra." Blitz thought, panting from the exertion.

Something struck Hidden's right shoulder piercing flesh and shattering bone without leaving exit wounds. "Gahh!" She screamed grabbing her shoulder dropping her thousands ice blade Jutsu. The tip heavy ice sword falling. She turned, "what the hell!"

"H-how...how did you know?"

 

Xenneth appeared not far form Blitz. He walked right before him standing before the ninja. There was not a sound in his steps, and his eyes were that same hazy dull look. However, they changed, only slightly as he had taken at glaze towards the ninja, somewhat astounded by his lightning-type jutsu, but at the same time, confusion starting to clear like a once cloudy sky as he regain his own composure. The ground underneath them disturbed and feeling like sand as the rabbit-like boy held his shoulder that seemed slice into by one of the sharpest of blades.

 

"Or...you don't..." the violet haired boy had said, not a drop of blood hitting the ground even as his hand held the fresh, scentless wound. "My clan's technique is not like the ground burrowing you use to. Combine it with the Moguragukure and our Kekkei Genkai and we can travel underground at quick speeds and use our ears like radar to avoid predators...or in this day and age...crooks, thieves, and shinobi. All we need is to first create holes we can use."

 

The rabbit-like ears twitched with each word as he spoke, seeming to even act like a device to even hold a conversation. He had not reached, showing no interest in attacking Blitz. Even now, he took his time, explaining the folly of his plan...

 

The image of the rabbit-like figure had begun to strike at Wolf, but it had faded so quickly as soon as the lightning attack struck. It did not miss...not on either account. The clone created of Xenneth had been ran through with a flash. However, Wolf was not in any danger, not at that moment. The lightning attack exposed Xenneth's lie, and even gave him a piercing jolt as he was struck during his subterranean voyage, where he actually was taking time to plan his actual sneak attack.

 

"Lightning hurts..." he admitted with a faint smile traveling across his lips. He had, somehow, found the time to joke. Even then, he gestured his head the cracks underneath Blitz's feet "Whether I am underground. An electric current can affect my clan's technique. The ground comes hollow after all because of us nuturing it with chakra and making tunnels. So a ground current would easily shock us and do damage...and Earth chakra nature is not the best against a lightning nature. I am guessing...you figured that all out..."

 

He did not lie, not one bit.

 

If anything, he was impressed. The violet haired boy could see why Leaf Ninja were so respected. They must have great analytical skills. The Akatsuki members were the least impressive thing on his mind. It could not measure the regard he held for the ninja at the moment...even if they were his targets. However, he did not attack Blitz for the moment. He was very intrigued and that caused him to have a moment of repose.
