Suikoro noticed the advanced techniques his group had used,

making sure he doesn't accidentally get caught up in any of them.
Since Hidden was wounded and unable to continue the current ice jutsu, Suikoro focused on the next target.
"Musashi is late... mind aswell take the rest"

silently speaking as he dashed past Hidden infront of Blitz staring him down coldly.

Silently talks once more "Ill handle this if you want?" eyeing Xenneth greedily wanting a challenge, waiting patiently for his answer while on guard for any signs of movement.

Wolf's obviously frantic jokes was all talk and no back bone as her team mates are seemingly pinned down.

Suikoro might help Rikou... if he isn't too busy dealing with Blitz.

'I'm sick of being useless..'

Blink's only working eye turned a deep shade of maroon. He dropped his arm. He gripped his kunai, the colour changing from a venom green to a deep maroon.

He brought all his energy, his hands bleeding from the cuts from the rocks. He slashed at Eriza's ankles, momentarily allowing him break away.

He ignored Eriza herself, sprinting towards Wolf.

Standing in front of her he held his kunai up, ready to perform a jutsu at any given moment.

Eriza's knees were slashed by Blink causing her cloak to rip away and her Jutsu to weaken, allowing Blink to run off. 

 

Despite her clothes showing a clear cut all the way through her flesh she showed no signs of pain. "How unfortunate" She sighed before lifting her head to the clouds as if to measure the time by the sun's current direction. "It seems the others are running a little late" She muttered , a bit annoyed. 

 

"I suppose I should not have been so careless" She stated as the "Akatsuki" from above the canopies began landing on the field below. "I won't make the same mistake twice."  She grinned focusing her jutsu on Blink's legs slowing him down as 5 of the "Akatsuki" clones fired a kunai from multiple directions towards him. While 3 more , readied themselves to fire at his legs if he were to dodge the first round.

Blitz gave a slight nod as the lightning withdrew into his body. "Yeah. When you have holes that go into the ground from any jutsu, it's pretty obvious what type of style you use." He said, his voice sounding a bit like static. The ninja then drew his sword from the ground and inspected the blade, making sure that he hadn't damaged it during his jutsu. He didn't really care for the appearance of Suikoro, to be quite honest.

So he did not know. Xenneth waas not referring to the affinity, but then again, maybe that was best for now.

 

"Ill handle this if you want?"

 

"O-o-oh..."

 

The arrival of the new Shinobi more or less did not catch Xenneth offguard. As the leader spoke before, he was clearly outnumbered. Not only that, but he was slightly at a disadvantage. He was injured, the field was riddled and scattered with the Leaf Shinobi, and his chakra was quickly depleting with every technique he used. He was relying mostly on his field advantage and a bunch of traps, which was the nature of his clan.

 

Still, as noted, he was only at a slight disadvantage.

 

"Please, you should both take me on at once," he warned the new ninja as well as Blitz, "A-a-after all...you should not waste time and risk the safety of your friends."

 

In a way, he was trying to help them. His hazy eyes were filled with a lot of sadness. He knew well more than anyone how it felt to be helpless and to see kinsman die within an arm's reach. He did not wish that on anyone, but arrogance was an enemey now was it then for him.

".....?" Suikoro understand most of Xenneth's emotional intentions,

but wouldn't hurt the poor guy unless he really needs too.
Akatsuki having the rabbit boy fight for his right to live is quite unnecessary, we do have enough power already.

silently speaking such confidence ruins his style, but it'll be just this once.

Grew long bone needles from his fingers seeing if either might take a chance to attack him.

With her snow jutsu now faded, Wolf collapsed onto the forest ground, no longer able to stand due to her injury. She fell onto her stomach and then slowly turned to her side, quickly losing her vision from the blood loss at the sight of her ankle, tendon visible. She knew that she couldn't just go down like this because her fellow ninja were facing none other than the Akatsuki themselves. Not onlybthat, but Wolf was the leader of this squad. Therefore, her promise to return to the Leaf Village with all her comrades alive still stood.

 

She had to do something about this wound. Just then, Wolf remembered what she had instructed everyone before they departed from the Hidden Leaf; she had medical supplies in one of her pouches. She tried to open the pouch and move her hand around inside of it, searching for gauze. "Damn... Where is it?" she thought to herself. Wolf then felt a literal bolt of pain shoot up her leg. It felt like something had electricuted her lower body. She rolled over again, screaming.

Before Blink could be hit by the Kunai, he gripped Wolf's shoulder, moving him and her at the speed of light into the trees that hadn't been destroyed. He took of his bandana, tying it tightly around the wound.

 

"Stay here." He jumped back down after the rain of Kunai was over.

"So you fancy The Dog?" She grinned mischievously from underneath her wooden cat mask. "Oh, This will be great fun!" She smiled, as an Akatsuki looked to be dressed in a marauder's outfit snuck from the bottom of the canopies with unyielding stealth (still one of her shadow clones) and quickly stabbed the bottom of the branch where Wolf rested, with his large serrated blade, piercing it trhough to the other side as if it were a knife through butter. (Whether or not it hits you or where it hits you is completely up to you)

Blitz rolled his eyes as he watched the two presumably akatsuki members bicker amongst themselves. "I'm not in the mood for games." He said. The ninja then felt a stinging pain in his hands as electricity surged out of his palm. "What's going on." To be honest, it felt like his very chakra was angry.

They were really good people.

 

Xenneth's lips pursed hearing the shinobi make such a statement. Beneath that battle-craving personality, the violet haired boy could see a genuine good heart. He did not seem to force him to fight like his captors did. It was a very good thing. A splendid and beauitful thing that could only come from a very genuine and good person. Hearing that, made Xenneth sad...unhappy as he let a sight escape his lips and the words to follow.

 

"You are good people," he complimented, "...and I have not told you any lies, but I have been deceiving you."

 

The ground crumbled away slowly after the words of the violet haired boy. Small openings in the ground the size of nesting pot holes had revealed beneath them small round orbs of paper were revealed underneath the crumbling dust. The rolls of paper were located in several of these holes, and even the cracked cravat underneath Blitz's feet revealed another of these pot holes with the bundle of papers.

 

The kanji on these papers all said "Explode,' obviously they were bundled exploding tags brimming with chakra.

 

"I am sorry Ms. Wolf," Xenneth had thought about his own deception, "I never intended to hurt you, but this is the only way for you to understand."

 

Xenneth never aimed to strike Wolf. Not even once. She was, after all, the target of his twisted moral lesson. He clone was blown away by the electric attack while he was burrowing and he was discovered while he was laying his trap. Of course he could not attack someone using those seven ice swords! It was such a formidable offense and defense. The one he aimed to destroy to get his point across?

 

Her friends. Those ones that she held so dear that she called to protect her!

 

He felt terrible plotting against them. The moment she called out to Blitz was heart wrenching! It was like when one of his little sisters called to him to save her, but nothing could stop the wrath of the Akatsuki, except him making a deal. It was what a proper heir would do, right? He did not know the answer to that, he just went what he assumed what his heart to be right at the time.

 

But he knew this was not right.

 

It was not right to target this ninja just because of their bonds, nor was it right to deceive them with needless conversation on the field of battle. The image of Xenneth faded away from the eyes of Blitz and Silently as it was revealed to be another clone. The real body of Xenneth finally appeared, leaping from the ground in haste as he held is bleeding shoulder. The ground finally crumbled away to reveal a ten meter radius of collapsing dirt and dust that had the balls of paper wrapped together and the chakra nestled within them becoming unstable.

 

Apparently, while the clone was talking, he was very busy digging and setting his nightmarish trap.

 

"I am truly sorry," he said, "If you do not survive this, then I believe this is goodbye."

 

Xenneth made haste leaping back into the rabbit hole. The ability of his clan ensuring him he could get safely away before-

 

*~BOOM!!!~*

 

There was only one explosion at first, but it was massive.

 

~*Boom-Boom!-BOOM!!!~*

 

The next ones followed, turning the small area into an explosive pit of fire and smoke.

 

Xenneth had gotten away with little to no chakra to spare. He only had enough to use "THAT" scroll as he was out of tricks. His rabbit hole he planted on the edge of his fifty meter range had been enough so he became distant from the other shinobi. He panted heavily as he had revealed a small scroll and reached to his bloody shoulder. With one hand, he swept across the injured limb and made a hand sign with another. A much larger scroll appeared in summon to the small one and with a blood hand, he paved his hand across the scroll surface and rolled it back up accordingly.

 

"Just in case I don't get away safely..."

 

He was on the ropes now, and he would admit that, but he no doubt did enough damage to get his point across to the valiant leader and her friends. Also, Eriza should have been entertained enough to the point that she should not complain about how he performed today. She would no doubt slaughter them all, or at least try and make some progression to satisfy herself today.

 

Still, he could not help but wish the ninja well. His ears twitching, already hearing Eriza in the distance and then hearing the other shinobi in the area..

 

"Still..."

 

His concern drifted...not for Eriza, but for those poor naive ninja that were so emotionally invested in one another. What would they hope to accomplish against a bunch of blood thirsty maniacs like that? In his mind, they stood no chance as they were.

 

They were good people...but that's why they were going to die.

Suikoro wasnt sure what he meant fully, but knows enough that Xenneth is talking about him also.
"....?!" A few seconds later, he had noticed bundles of explosive tags revealed, sizzling inside these pot holes.
Things would be quite messy within Blitz's range, so he jumped serval meters back safely before detonation took place.
Seems disapointing.... mybe Suikoro will wait his turn until an open challenge comes along without distraction, atleast the job is almost finished after that well planned trap... not that he thought Blitz would or wouldn't survive.

Blitz let out a chilling scream as the explosions sent him into a tree. The ninja could hear a few bones crack over the sounds of more explosions, and was just barely maintaining consciousness. "Looks like I failed. At least now I can join my clan." He thought.

Blink was thrown from his place, launching through the air and landing against his arm on a tree, a sickening crack could be heard, as well as muffled screams.

He stood, clutching his broken arm, he spat blood on the ground. He made a few hand signs.

"Poison tiger!"

A greenish black tiger shot out of his hand, forming itself midair, moving straight towards Blitz.

The tiger stood protectively in front of Blitz, growling. As Blink thudded to the ground, clutching his arm.

"I'll never give in you to you nutters!"

"I need to do something..."

 

He had already begun.

 

By  the time the thought raced through his mind, he had already begun to race just as quickly through the trees. The little chakra he was using was carrying his body like the wind as he rustled the leaves, shook the branches, and whipped pass the open winds that battered his face. Eventually, he had gotten to the main destination as he stood right beneath Wolf and his sickly (at least in the mind) mistress as the violet haired boy sawing her effort to commit murder on the helpless Shinobi.

 

"Help, Ms. Eriza!" His scream was ear splitting, making the concern sound even more genuine, "I-It's Rikou...I-I am sorry...I am almost out of Chakra and I can't do much to help him. P-plus, I think Suikoro...needs help too."

 

He was not lying, but one bit. But...as usual, he was being deceieving.

 

The violet haired boy could make drastic measures to help them both, but why go through the effort? It was not like he was fond of either of them...any of them. At the moment, his concerns were more concentrated on the helpless shinobi who found themselves in a hard to win situation. At this point, Xenneth could see them being slaughtered by the group. They were nice, too nice, and it made him think of insects.They did little to no harm, but they were always stepped on.

 

Fortunately for them, he had a thing for insects...including Ladybugs.

 

"C-can we retreat for now?" he asked, "I think...I made sure most of them could not pose a threat to you anymore."

 

Once again, he did not lie...but for this once, he wish he was.

Even though Wolf had been safely placed in a rather secluded area, the massive explosion sent Wolf rolling across the ground, resulting in her hitting a giant boulder, making her feel as if her spine had cracked in half.

"...Damn" she snorted to herself, almost fainting. Wolf then snapped back to reality, realizing that everyone else could have easily died just now.

"Are you guys alright!?" she shouted at he top of her lungs, completely out of it but still concerned with her comrade's safety. Wolf rolled onto her other side and held tightly onto her stomach. She violently coughed with a trace of blood. The impact of her body hitting the rock had injured her internal organs.

Wolf weakly weaved a hand sign and used her thumb to pick up some of the blood she revently explled, dragging it across the ground. "Summoning jutsu!"

With that, a giant snow owl appeared. The owl glowed marvelously; a stunning beast, really. The owl used its large wing as a shield, covering Wolf. "You stand no chance against Icera here. She is my ultimate weapon. You have no idea what she's capable of. She will slash you open and you will not hear the end of it. It'd be wise to retreat"

 

As Wolf explained, Icera's eyes began radiating freezing air. The air around everyone was becoming unbearably cold, easily able to get to a level of freezing some solid.

 

The chakra Icera was emitting was immense.

"..... heh" Suikoro ammusingly grunted, as Wolf yet still have over-confindence with-in herself.
He dashed over infront of Icera seemingly being the only one left and kept fresh,

not to mention the right choice for this situation against a giant hardened snow beast.

With Suikoro's virtualy indestructible bones...
there is a high chance of victory, but he will stay on guard no matter what.
The kaguya boy finally stands ready, starring down his frosty enemy including Blink's green tiger with a slightly smuged face feeling determined.

One of Blitz's eyes slowly opened and he simply watched what was going on around him. A warm liquid ran down the side of his face, and it didn't take long to figure out what it was. The ninja then noticed the tiger in front of him and slowly raised his hand, as if something was calling out to him.

Blink allowed the second hound to shoot out of his hand, and it moved straight for Wolf.

 

The first wolf turned and nuzzled Blitz onto its back, bringing him at lightning speeds, and placing him on the ground behind Blink.

 

The 2nd wolf moved toward Wolf, it's liquid skin dissipating as it neared Icera. It stood protectively in front of them both, ready to whisk them away at any given moment.

"Wooo..."

 

Cold air had frozen the moment that it had left his lips and he closed his mouth in haste feeling his saliva get dreadfully cold. The violet haired boys electric blue eyes stared at the giant winged beast before them. His pores became cold, frozen with the breeze that surrounded him that was no doubt coming from the wolf. The ice elemental beast's abilities should not have surprised him at this point. It was all in relevance to the jutsu that he had s

een so far.

 

"She is not bluffing," Xenneth had thought, "It is covering her defensively. I think it wants to draw us in...and my Taijutsu..."

 

He was pinned.

 

Traps were in short supply, even if he rigged this area. His speciality was Taijutsu, and with low charka the violet haired boy had not a lot of options to attack the leader. Then again, that had not been his target for most of the battle, but from the look of it, the female's cries and calls were all attention given to her allies. She was onguard and seemed to not ready to risk losing anyone...or any of the others ready to risk dying here.

 

"Maybe...they are not so helpless...I hope."

 

His eyes drawn to Ezira once more, Xenneth had stturned his neck while his body felt a chill. He was not scared..but he was wearing barely anything. The Harusagi Clan's fighting uniform was not exactly meant to be coveting. "I-I'm sorry Ms. Eriza, I-I have to retreat!" he cried, "I-I can't fight that! My traps won't work and I am out of chakra!"

 

Before the rabbit could do anything more, he bound off backwards with a mighty kick. His hands reached out to snatch a tree branch and swung his weight around it, leaping to the greenery of the treetops that rustled signaling his retreat...or at least to get some distance away from the freezing temperatures.

Eriza stood in place , the explosion was horrible , but her nerves and humanity was too numb to care , about such a minor inconvenience.

 

Eriza took a step back , her body feeling a sudden chill , as the large snow owl towered over the rest of them. She’s seen wolf’s snow owl before and knew it was quite the sight, it seemed a bit different now….stronger. She stood quiet for a moment, a gust of wind flowing through her coat. In the back of her mind she could feel the itching and clawing of her chakra begging it’s way into her psyche. “I have about one more jutsu before the wall breaks again” She gulped , her tone more fearful.

 

 

"I-I'm sorry Ms. Eriza, I-I have to retreat!" he cried, "I-I can't fight that! My traps won't work and I am out of chakra!"

 

“I hadn’t planned on retreating so soon” She muttered to herself , thinking if she should perhaps punish Xenneth for forcing their retreat, “Maybe I should kill another member of your family again...” She smiled , her arms began glowing for one final attack...or perhaps it was more of a distraction . the “Akatsuki” illusions and her shadow clones began to blitz towards Eriza, sacrificing themselves as if to give her more and more chakra.

 

“Jake...I’m sorry” She muttered , with her last bit of humanity, the kurosawa clan sealed the beast into him, and with one spell ...they could “reverse” it.

 

“Suikoro” She said sternly . “You know what to do” She ordered before quickly gesturing multiple hand signs and ending it by biting her two thumbs causing them to bleed.

 

“Jake?! How did yo-” Hyde could barely finish his sentence before he felt a horrific pain in his arms. The bonds were weakening. Hyde held on for as long as he could, clawing himself into Jake’s psyche but it just couldn’t hold. His ancient spirit was sucked out of Jake’s body, first as a mist before taking physical form as Blue wolf,  for a brief moment Jake took control , The moment passed and Jake’s body began to turn to dust. “Jake!!!” Hyde screamed. “It’s going to be okay” Jake smiled , before disappearing into the ether.

 

Hyde was now  fueled with rage his now canine body, grew in size, the color changing from a nova blue to a bloody red. His emotions blinded by rage as he swiped away a row of trees like they were nothing more than playing cards.

 

“It’s all your fault...It’s ALL of your faults”

 

He screamed , destroying more fauna in his path , rushing towards Icera, towering over her like a large old dog prowling a young canary, His large teeth lunged towards her, in a well-aim yet brutish manner towards Icera’s neck.

Blitz groaned in pain as he slowly stood up and noticed Hyde. The ninja knew that talking to him would probably be a waste of time, so the best option would be to knock him out. "Sorry about this, but you're a bit of a danger to everyone else." He thought to himself as he formed a ball of electricity in his left hand. Blitz knew what it felt like to lose someone close, and he would at least try to help Hyde after all of this. The ninja then rushed forward, albeit still feeling pain from the explosion Xenwth had set off. When he jumped in order to hit Hyde's back, something went wrong. A rush of pain surged through Blitz's body, causeing him to falter and forced the lightning in his hand to dissipate. Of course, what comes up, must come down, and Blitz just happened land next to Hyde. In an attempt to stop him, the ninja basically grabbed onto his leg, hoping to at least distract him. "Get out of here, Wolf." He muttered.

Wolf let out a moan that almost seemed non-human. Her wounds were sever and she was in unbearable pain. She rolled onto her back and let out a sigh. "Damn... They got away". She the placed her hand on her stomach and turned her head toward Blitz. "I'm not leaving here wothout any of you! And even if I wanted to leave, I couldn't. The tendon in my ankle is severed and I can't walk"; laughing at that last part.

 

She tried to stand, but stumbled; bumping into a nearby broken tree trunk. She used her arm to cushion the impact.

Wolf leaned her head back, vision going blurry.

"We'll meet again soon, Xenneth! And next time, you won't be able to retreat!" Wolf shouted with the little energy she had left.

"Aren't you damn Akatsuki going to leave, too?" She asked, breathing heavily and ready to signal to Icera to strike at a moment's notice. "I will unleash power you have never seen before".

 

The winds became more frigid and snow began to slowly fall from the sky as the clouds above turned a light grey.

Blink coughed up a severe amount of blood. He clutched his arm and slowly moved towards Wolf and Blitz.

He dropped to the ground, one of his wolves nuzzled Blitz onto it's back, and the other allowed Wolf support, the wolves skin hardening under their touch.

"So, what are our injuries?"

"This is not good..."

 

Xenneth's ears were still burning through Chakra, enough to know that Eriza was serious about slaughtering another tribeman. She knew very well he could hear from far distances, so the uttering of another possible murder of his brethren was not even funny. The violet haired boy had paused for a minute...only a minute as he had thought about what she said, but it was enough to give him some clarity. He now had a plan.

 

"They aren't going to win like this..."

 

They were doomed. The Akatsuki would kill them all, whether they had good inside intel from a former member or not. The violet haired boy was not familiar with Wolf by acquaintance until now. Even at this moment, he was thinking a lot about her declaration and resolve. She was so set on protecting her comrades that she went through incredible measure...even if in the end, it was very sparse because of how the end result ended with a lot of injuries.

 

"...but...I don't think anyone died."

 

Xenneth stood down, sitting back behind one of the many trees in the forest. His hands reached out as it touched the mighty body of the tree. Surely, with this distance and Eriza's mind on murder, she would not notice him, and she would probably expect him to head back to his clansman. So, Xenneth stood by, listening from his position as the group had gathered their bearings while trying to regroup.

 

Honestly, he was curious to know how they would act in the face of their near defeat.
