Luna has one of my favorite designs in the whole show – I imagine it's also one of the reasons why she is so popular. She especially has the most appealing color scheme of the three.

I feel like Princess Luna is a perfect candidate, especially with how smol she is compared to her sister  Cadence makes a close-second to me, just because of how well her color scheme goes!

Although, I have a feeling if we changed Twilight's mane-style, she too could be a contender for this.

Theres something to be said about Celestia's regal and dazzling beauty, but she's like looking at the sun. 

Cadence is pretty, but way to pink for me. She's the most traditionnally princess-like. 

Twilight is always beautiful, but nothing changes in her design as she becomes a princess. And no I don't count the final episode, she just becomes a Celestia reskin. 

Luna is the embodimen of effortles beauty, much like the night itself. Not scary, but peacefully graceful. Exactly what you'll want from a princess, and my personal favorite in term of princess design.
