A breeze blew by and I allowed myself to briefly glide on the wind as I considered what to say next. "Thanks for the help anyway, even if we don't encounter a threat, I wouldn't mind if you give a little training with this thing. I'm more worried about hurting me than something else," I smiled referring to Gladius secured on her armor. With a quick flap of my wings to regain control, I angled my descent and a small speck appeared on the ground in the distance as we approached the clearing. The oranges and yellows mixed and produced the most amazing sight as evening enveloped the sky. "Too bad they don't have wings, I almost feel for bad for them. The sights are pretty incredible up here," she said enraptured now. "What do you think we'll expect down there? You are a recon pony after all," she asked curious. "I expect at least a representative from each of the tribes and a gaurd with them." I said "anyway for the training just keep the Blade in sight and you will have less chance of getting hurt from your own sword. Speaking of which, that definitely isn't a pegasus and what do those horns do. It's kinda weird hehehe," she said conspiratorily. Finally arriving at the clearing,she wasn't sure who was who and those fangs stuck out almost immediately. She made a note to be wary of those. He walked up to Mist, then gently nudged him to get his attention. "That is called a pegasus. Their particular ability is flight, and they are very good at it. Us unicorns, however, rely solely on magic -- though each unicorn utilizes their abilities differently." He smirked, then looked around at the group. "As for your question, I'm sure you all know why you've been called here; there is a threat looming on the horizon, and it is up to all of us to stop it. I believe we are missing a member, however..." Pallid eyed the line of trees, then espied a lone blue pony making her way out of the brush. "Ah, here she comes now." Sprightly made her way over to the group, smiling widely at the others. "Hello!" she said, her spirits high. "And that," Pallid explained to Mist, "is an earth pony. I was told that I was to be a mediater for all of you." Mist saw a ruseling in the trees. In an instant he picked up his spear aand threw it at the sound. The spear landed and had a wild feasant impaled on it. "Perfect," Mist said picking up his catch, "I was starting to get hungry." "I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Rain and my companion here is Hidden. We come from Cloudsdale although i am not sure myself what requires our combined knowledge and skill. I suppose we need a guide for our group, since Hidden here can fly and has experience in reconnaissance. I nominate her." Taking a moment to breathe, "Unless you think otherwise, I think we should be fine. What do we have for intelligence?" She said addressing the group as a whole. Dapper Charmer 591 Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Mist shrugged and went back to preparing the feasant. When the bird was skinned and gutted Mist hung it up on a branch. He then moved on to building a fire. But thanks to his training that didn't take long either. Mist grabbed the bird and started cooking it on the fire. There doesn't seem to be, so Hidden is fine; at least they aren't jumping to conclusions." He matched her glare, gritting his teeth slightly. Juniper remained quiet, watching the rest of the group. It was fortunate that nopony was paying her any mind, because right now her biggest objective was staying out of everypony's way. "I'm Sprightly," she said, holding out a hoof. "And it's very nice down here, though I can imagine it would be strange for a pegasus who's not used to it.
