War, War never changes. No matter what part of the world you travel to or what it is you do in life, war affects us all. It's just that some people see a worse side than others. And some of those people cross lines that never should be crossed. In the early parts of the new millennia pony kind was developing from a civilisation of swords and shields, to a technologically advance paradise. Fusing magic, science and the natural resources of the world, launched Equestria and her neighbouring nations into a technological utopia. Places of peace, prosperity and sanctuary. Through the eyes of many, it looked like this paradise would last forever. But those at the top of the political chains knew that this illusion they had created of a perfect world would one day crumble beneath them. In the year starting 2050, the worlds dependency on its dwindling resources forced the leaders into a crisis, and threats of war became all too true. In the year 2077, the nerve of the world leaders broke, and the most devastating weapon every created was released onto the world. Mega Spells. Several of these abominations, created in acts of desperation by the uncontrolled possibilities of magic and science, tore the illusion of the perfect world in half and left a scar so deep that it may never heal. But all was not lost, as many had predicted. Few of the nation’s civilian populations managed to escape the raging torrent of Fire and radiation by seeking safety in huge underground bunkers. Known to the world as Stables. Within the walls of these hidden safe houses, the last remnants of the world waited. I hope that one day they may leave and build a better tomorrow.

200 years on and civilisation had started to rebuild. But it was far more different than the utopian world they had before. And it may very well never be the same again.

Welcome wary wanderers. Take a seat for a moment, and let me tell you a story. It is the story of a mare, one called Littlepip. She once tried to “save the wasteland”. And if you believe the stories they tell, she came very close. Stopping both the Enclave from destroying everything, Red eye from enslaving the world and those mutant Alicorn’s from feeding off of our life. Though people nowadays see her as a liar. She promised to clear the clouds, to bring back the sun. A lot of good that did her. Neither of those things came true in the end. And where is she now? Dead is the most likely answer. We have a few odd balls who still think they can finish her work. Bunch of radical nut jobs if you ask me. Enough of that though, I got a job for you. Interested?

 

This RP takes place in an alternate timeline to the original Fallout Equestria novel written by Kkat, one in which Littlepip failed to clear the cloud curtain after stopping the Enclave and being pronounced dead. After which, the world started to return to what it was like after Pip had died. Savage, brutal and a place of death. It has been 13 years since Littlepip was pronounced dead and the world is virtually back to the way it was, with a few still believing in what Littlepip was trying to attain.

 

This next part may be long, so take a seat.

 

Basic plot:

 

Not much of an actual story has been established in terms of detail. But it’s the basic trope you see all the time. Bad guy comes, hero’s must stop said bad guy. How your character will tie into the story all depends on their personality, motivations and beliefs. Remember, not everyone has to be a good guy to be a hero. The actual story will develop during the RP and will mostly be improvised as a good RP should. Though here is a rough outline of the story to follow.

 

An unnaturally large group of Raiders have set up base within the area once called the Smoky Mountains. They've been causing problems for the people living in the area. Hero’s job is to eliminate them all.
That is just for the first section to get the ball rolling and NOT the entire plot. Twists may occur, the world will develop and a few nasty surprises will get you.

 

Rules and notes:

 

Not every character has to be a hero. In fact, I request that at least one other person submit an OC that will provide a challenge for our main group of hero’s.

 

Since this is a Fallout world, certain things will be implemented to a character. Mainly concerning: SPECIAL, perks and traits. Your SPECIAL will work on the Fallout 3 Base 40 system. Meaning that all SPECIAL stats must equal 40 when added up to total.

 

Perks you can take are determined by your SPECIAL. Someone with 1 Strength will not be able to take the Heavy Gunner perk, same as someone who has 1 Intelligence will not be able to take the hacker perks. For clarification, all perks across all the Fallout series are allowed, but only the latest version of that perk. (I will also like to say, that Cannibalism is not a perk here, but a trait. It makes more sense that way and saves wasting 8 points into endurance.)

 

Traits are characteristics and have no requirements. Take them as you please but keep in mind the effects.
Depending on your character determines a few things about your character. Mainly being their world knowledge and survival skills. Wasteland veterans will be much stronger and more skilled that say someone from a stable. To get better at a certain skill, you must actually use that skill. Think of the system Skyrim has to show progression of a character’s skills. That is the system we use. “Practice makes perfect” in this world.

 

Characters must fit the lore set by the FoE universe. Since that is basically Equestria, that should not be a problem.

 

Anything I see to be clearly too OP for this RP will be rejected with a list of reasons why to go along with it. I do accept characters that are quite powerful as it gives everyone a challenge or some they can rely on.
You may have and control up to a maximum of two characters at any one time.

 

Standard forum rules also apply. Lenience will be had in terms of violence, but if it gets to something like dismemberment, torture or anything graphic in that sense. Take it to PM. Same goes with anything not rated PG-13 (much to my personal dismay).

 

A character OC page is required to submit to this RP, as it simply keeps things organised. Don’t have one? Make one, then come back.

 

You can decide what loot you find in the world, but it has to be appropriate for what you are looting. So no finding Plasma rifles or highly powerful gear from Raiders, Scavengers and random containers.

 

Death is very real and your characters can be killed by other characters and NPC’s.

 

Just because they are the Hero’s, does not mean they are going to be successful in their missions.

From looking at her page, I think she'd definitely have high Agility, decent Luck, around average Intelligence and a bit lower in Charisma. Everything else would be around the middle I think

 

Being a pegasus, she'll either be an Enclave soldier, a Dashite or wasteland-born

 

Perks, I think, would depend on the situation thrown at her and how she overcomes it

I would prefer hero

 

But kinda like a rogue sort of hero, meaning not all goodie two shoes, often can use tactics which others might consider amoral to win etc.
