Now some alicorn ocs are awful like per say this girl in my class, her oc is a rainbow alicorn with no name or backstory. My oc is an alicorn with a dreadfully long backstory! so what I'm saying is don't hate on all alicorns, just some (aka princess cadence) WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE CADANCE?!?! It's not always Alicorns that are the godmodders. Earth ponies do have magic tho? Not unicorn magic, but still. Anyways, yes. More like one that's kinda awkward and is still getting used to what she can do. Probably a non-alicorn pony to start who doesn't feel like she deserves her new form. But I haven't started actually coming up with details. I need to do that. >.>' Mostly I do earth ponies. At least, those are probably the ones I'd RP with most, if I did more RP. You know in my opinion tho, alicorn OCs are ok as long as they have a good reason for being an alicorn... You know, like Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight originally being the only alicorns until hundreds of others suddenly pop up out of nowhere. To make them 'flawed' they give up the entire reason behind being an alicorn. Cuz it makes sense that if you are a unicorn and you suddenly have wings that you won't be an expert at flying straight away. My alicorn OC Clover is actually terrified of heights so it took her a long time to be able to use her wings and fly cuz she had this phobia to get over first. I don't mind alicorn OCs with flaws like that, cuz they're good for characterisation. What bugs me are ones who are either incredibly OP, were born alicorns (especially with no reasoning behind it or worse, "Luna's daughter" and "Celestia's sister") or who go the Anti-Sue route* which begs the question of why they were made an alicorn in the first place. * http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AntiSue Signature and avatar by Pucksterv.
