PacificGreen 1,163 March 11, 2016 Share March 11, 2016 (edited) I'm just gonna say that homemade, pour-the-batter-into-the-iron-yourself waffles beat the pants off store-bought ones. Even the Krusteaz Belgian toaster waffles I used to like got kinda boring after a while. Edited March 11, 2016 by PacificGreen

Applefolf 147 March 23, 2016 Share March 23, 2016 It's impossible to go wrong with a Belgian waffle lightly dusted with sugar, with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream on the top drizzled in banoffee sauce. Belgian waffles in general though are delicious, so it doesn't really matter what you've got on top - if anything at all!
Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,298 March 23, 2016 Share March 23, 2016 I have this image handy because I do (I made it well before this topic appeared): Do Eggos count? xD Like, the blueberry kind with a little margarine. I have been to IHOP once, but I had pancakes rather than waffles. I'm very sorry.
Scootaloo Is Best Filly 576 March 23, 2016 Share March 23, 2016 I love Belgium waffles. I don't have them a lot but, I love them. I have never considered putting anything on them however( except syrup) they are perfect the way they are.
Grtxkkyz 387 March 25, 2016 Share March 25, 2016 I only ate waffles on a couple of occasions, and it's safe to assume they're better than hot-cakes! (don't get me wrong, i enjoy those too, but waffles have some more coolness!) A pity they're somewhat rare here on Mexico

I remember when I traveled to the Netherlands a few years ago and fell in love with stroopwafels. They're apparently really good with tea.
Denim&Venöm 16,271 March 25, 2016 Share March 25, 2016 I like cinnamon kinds if we're talkign egos. Home made? I like mine a bit crispy, w/ butter scotch chips baked in.
Stormlight 1,371 March 25, 2016 Share March 25, 2016 I enjoy the crispiness and thickness of Belgium waffles, especially how they stack on top of each other. My home is only a walk away from an original pancake house (how ironic, huh?), and they serve the best breakfast waffles that I've ever tasted. Dreambiscuit 7,931 January 1, 2019 Share January 1, 2019 I had some tasty chocolate chip waffles at IHOP once, they'd rank pretty high on the list methinks. 11 minutes ago, Midnight Solace said: Oh yeah. Discordian 6,013 January 1, 2019 Share January 1, 2019 I'm not actually fond of things that you put syrup on for the most part but my family used to have this tradition of putting home made country gravy on gigantic waffles for Christmas breakfast. No one picked up the mantle after my grandparents stopped being able to host the get-together every year.

SparklingSwirls 21,261 April 15, 2019 Share April 15, 2019 I like plain waffles with fruit on them... not too many other toppings or I feel like it’s then too hard to actually taste the waffle. Maybe a little maple syrup or dark chocolate

DubWolf 16,447 January 12, 2020 Share January 12, 2020 It’s my breakfast half the time. They’re just pretty quick to prepare and easy to eat. I’ll sometimes just toast a couple and eat them plain (sometimes they’re vanilla or blueberry flavored).
