Starlight Glimmer X Sunburst fans?

After watching the opening, I am starting to ship Starlight and Sunburst pretty hard. Any one else with me?

After the premier, I had expected people to ship the two. Really though, who wouldn't. They seem like they'd be great together! At least, I'd expect that. Honestly though, I don't really care for it. I like the idea of Starlight being too caught up in magic and friendship stuff to not have time for relationships and the like. It's just my opinion though, so don't let mine change yours.

In the Season 6 Premiere alone, we've gotten great chemistry between Starlight & Spike and Starlight & Sunburst. Here's hoping to see more interactions between these combos.

It would be great if they actually ended up together in the show. Clearly the mane 6 are not going to get love interest so Starlight getting one would  be a good solution. I would like some romance to be explored.

 

And frankly I think Starlight needs a thing that is kind of her own, her appearance and magic talents, lack of friends and being a student of Friendship is so Twilight like. Her guilt is the only thing that is really hers (Discord does not feel guilty despite being redeemed and I do not thing they will make a fillylike Diamond Tiara feel constantly guilty either). But she can not keep feeling guilty forever. I assume she will get some character development but having a romance plot would really be her unique plot.

I kind of think Starlight's backstory (going completely bezerk because Sunburst left her) would have made more sense if she had romantic feelings for Sunburst (or, at the very least, an unrequited crush). So, I guess I have always shipped them! I definitely could still see it in this episode, especially considering their nervousness around each other (yes, it was because both were lying to each other and the meeting was awkward, but still). They make a cute couple AND a cute couple of friends irregardless.
