One game you wish people still played

Command and Conquer, I mean the entire series is just not what it once was since EA took over development of the games.

Worms World Party B)

Naw man. It's all about the Worms Armageddon. Seriously, the game is still getting patches; even if they are coming out at a snails pace. Development is handled by two unpaid volunteers, so things get stalled a bit here and there; still, the game is fully functional on modern operating systems - and still fun as hell!

Aliens Vs Predator

I never actually played the original, but AvP2 was a bloody blast at LAN parties - even though I was complete and utter rubbish at it!

F.E.A.R Multiplayer.

Such an awesome FPS.....

Yes. Yes.

YES.

F.E.A.R. was not groundbreaking in any one way - truth be told, it was almost cookie-cutter in some ways, but it was so damn well polished that I couldn't help but love it. The netcode was stellar, and pretty much everything was executed exactly as I like it. So much SQUEEEE.

Indeed it was.

I still remember all the maps and the game modes.

Except for the one shot one kill laser weapon the spike gun has to be my favorite.

Now this is a tough one. I guess I'll do one for each type.

More People: Probably Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. I got into it late, and so didn't really find many people to play with, and that was months, if not a good year, ago. So I doubt there's much going on now. Though I just got my wi-fi back online, so maybe I'll give it a shot later.

Company Shutdown: Dragongem. It went out a few months before I heard about it. It was called a Maplestory rip-off by most people, since it came out in the US long after, but apparently this was the game that invented that gameplay system. Maplestory, Windslayer, all of them were evolutions of Dragongem. I'd really love a chance to play the one that started it.

I'm a bit confused. Are we talking about games many people played in it's day but not now, or really good games which were overshadowed by large ones and lost in time and when you talk about them people look at you funny? Do they have to be ones you played when whatever it was was still around or can it be on older systems due to not owning that system until after it's life was over?

Pokemon

now yes I know you're all thinking thats all popular as hell but in schools almost no one plays it and you're made fun of if you play it, think back to like 10 years ago, remember when pokemon was the shit and everyone was playing it at school? I wish it was still like that ;_;

Are you in college yet? trust me, it's still like that. My dorm mates will load up Pokemon games and the old animated series on the big screen TV in the lobby. I know for a fact at least a 3rd own a Ds and have the new Pokemon games as well.

I guess if noone will answer my question, I'll just assume it means what I hope it means.

Ecco the dolphin. All three of those games were freaking beautiful. Especially the dreamcast one. The mix of the stange aquatic-life-meets-evil-alien-race story, serene music, stunning visuals, excellent controls, creative level design made for an amazing game.

Closely following-MDK2. With it's offbeat sense of humor, intriguing characters, a very different yet a perfectly fitting control scheme. Comix Zone. With what perhaps was the coolest side-scrolling action game of the 16-bit era with both the level design and how everything fit the idea perfectly. Vectorman 2. Donkey Kong Country meets Metroid starring a shape-shifting garbage disposing robot destroying freaky giant insects on a ruined Earth. Awesome. And Fur Fighters. Stuffed animals shooting the stuffing out of other stuffed animals (literally). And lots and lots of puns on the word "fluff". But really the cool thing about was the varied characters each serving their own special purpose, a cartoony style like the later Sly Cooper games, sweet weaponry, and the awesome multiplayer mode.
