Shadow walked into the cells to see that everyone was in. He quietly walked up and said, 
"Redwood, why don't you get some sleep. I'm closing up the area and shutting off the lights."

"How's your leg, and I don't think I introduced myself, Name's Shadow Beast, I run this prison."

As Redwood walked off, she honestly hoped that there weren't any incriminating marks on her flank that Kurren$y or Shadow could see. She went to bet just a little worried that Kurren$y really and truly did know what had happened.

A portal opened up and his claw went into the cell,

Kurren$y was bewildered by the sight of a portal in his cell. If there is a portal in my cell then there could be one anywhere. Good to know.

 

"Not even a peek to satisfy my curiosity? The yelling may be a bit common place: get me hyped and I get to hollering. Is mudflat coming back with my stack of paper?"

Shadow shook his hoof and said,

"Well, ya might want to get some sleep. and here, this might help with the pain, or it might be too much."

He tossed a flask into the room and said,

"It's dragon alcohol, so It might not be safe for ponies, but I haven't given it to ponies before."

Kurren$y picked up the flask, opened it, held it at waist, chest, and nose heights, swishing around the flask and taking deep inhales at each level.

 

"Ooo this has so many layers to it. Very rich."

 

Kurren$y then poured a miniscule amount in his mouth, tasting for the full profile he just smelled. If he wasn't such a well rounded drinker the unique burn would have had him chocking.

 

"I consider this a sipping liquor, if you want this back in a hurry here you go. Thank you very much though, I think I found a new favorite."

 

Kurren$y put the lid back onto the flask and went to hand it back to Shadow.

Shadow grabbed it and took a gulp of it. and said as the light started to go out,

"I talk to the doctor in the morning and since I know where to hurt, don't try anything, Okay?"

He opened a portal and went through right before the cells went dark. He came out in his room, placed the flask on his bedside, and went to sleep

 

 

 

 

 

Nightmare woke up then she decided to get some breakfast. She got up, headed to the staff cafeteria, and got some breakfast.

 

Shadow got up and stretched. He should check on missklang about the energy, maybe he got something for him to help. He walked over to a trunk and started digging through it.

Hooligan woke up and stretched, yawning loudly as he did. Usually he would have made some wise ass comment about how his day was gonna suck balls. But this morning he smiled. Because Hooligan knew that it was only a matter of time before he got to be with Red again. "Can someone let me out? I'm hungry," Hooligan said as he banged on his door.

Time to get up. Redwood wasn't too eager to deal with Missklang or Kurrn$y today, plus the new prisoner was a bit of a wild card. While she couldn't totally get out of her duties, she could at least relieve a little stress with Hooligan. Redwood headed down to his cell, and not wishing to arouse suspicion, she stood by the end of the hallway and gave Hooligan a wink.

Hooligan smiled as he saw Redwood standing at the end of the hallway. His smile widened when he saw her wink at him. He chuckled to himself he still found it hard to beleive that this was happening. "Hey Redwood," he said banging on the door, "let me out i'm starving."

Mercury's ear twitched as she raised her head. She looked around dully to the scene outside. Not fully awake, she didn't bother even trying to comprehend what was actually going on. She simply waited for things to quiet down before thinking at all. Scratching idly at her collar with one hoof, Mercury let her head drop back down.

He adjusted what was left of the bones and wrapped them tightly

Mercury blinked blearily at the open door. She walked out with her eyes darting over the hallway. She followed the other inmates, hooves dragging along the floor as she walked. She still wasn't awake.

 

"Where are we going?" she asked, hesitant and quiet.

Redwood gestured for Hooligan to hang back and let the rest of the prisoners go on ahead of him. She had to be discreet and make absolute sure nopony else saw them. Redwood was still worried that Kurren$y really did know what she had done. Perhaps she could justify it as motivation for Hooligan to behave during the princess' inspection.

Mercury dully grabbed a tray in her teeth. She was surprisingly adept at it, carrying it steadily until she set it down. Before she started eating, Mercury yawned. She stretched her hooves and started to eat breakfast. Meh, I've had worse, she thought.

Hooligan walked out of his cell and saw Redwood gesturing for him to wait for all the other prisoners to get to the cafeteria. It was clear she wanted to talk but she wanted to be discreet. When the crowd died down he walked over to her, "you wanted me hot stuff?" he asked with a grin.

Redwood really did need to relieve some stress. This job took a lot, and she didn't have many ways to enjoy herself.

Kurren$y was relieved to see the doctor walk into his cell. He could get back to doing what he had been wanting to, to some degree.
