She made sure to keep her voice low so the doctor couldn't hear.

She got up and left, chuckling to herself as she did so. It was rare that she was given a chance to cut loose, and while it was fine that she had to do her job by the book sometime, she did like it when she had a chance to enjoy herself.

Nightmare decided to check on Missklang, that prisoner was the only one that treated her like royalty. She walked over to the cell and said, to the guard, 

"I want to talk to Missklang alone. Go get something to eat."

 

The guard looked down as if it was sad then headed.

 

Nightmare walked up to the cell and tapped against it.

 Muffled noises started underneath the bed as the blanket was thrown away, revealing the shadows underneath the bed with two glowing red dots that were Missklang's eyes.

 

Your highness! What an honor. I was hoping for a visit from someone. The ambiance here is.... rather chilling.

 

He crawled from under the bed. His mane was a bit frozen and gave a more spiked-like appearance to his mane. But he didn't seemed to be bothered by the temperature in any way.

"The guard didn't take well to your jokes, did it? So, lunch is going to be starting soon, and I was if you would care to join me so we can talk more. Seeing you are the only one that thinks of me as royalty, even though it's my other half that's royalty."

Hooligan smiled, he didn't know why but the way she said date just made his heart light up. It was very strange.

Everyone has inside of them a shadow version of themselves. Luna's just went too strong to the point of becoming too big for her to handle. So she just ripped it off... So to me, you are as much the right to be "princess of the night" as she is. So majesty you are. Hehehe. I wonder when the Nightmare Sun is going to pop up. That would be fun to watch. All that pride of her. All that alicorny chauvinism. But I'm going off topic again, am I? 

 

He walked towards the cell door.

 

Oh no. The guard took it much smoothly than I expected. I must congratulate whoever assigned them here. They needed to know me well enough to consider the "silent treatment". But I was able to make them chuckle twice. So I consider it as a victory from my part. Mares are indeed much less prone to be enraged by my harmless teasings. Even miss Redwood. Just compare her to Shadow. Few words and he were ready to rip me up to serpentines. 

 

(P.S. : I had a small liberty of considering the guard a mare because it would be more interesting. And Missklang would be able to tell the gender by his aura reading abilities  )

"Wait, you heard a silent guard laugh."

She shook her head and said as calmly as she could,

"What else happened. Luna didn't get rid of me. I was brought out of her."

Looks like you have an imposter in this facility. It could be an extremely well-thought escape plan but I think it's probably some delinquent pony who wanted to feel more useful than she was or watch the dangerous ponies or maybe do a research. Perhaps to impress someone. You should see if any of the higher-ups had brought their daughters or if any secretary or librarians are missing their posts. From my scannings of the few guards I've met I presume the silent guards are shadowings? Otherwise, you wouldn't be so surprise, your majesty.

 

(I'm referring to the shadow bolts Nightmare created in the show)

They do laugh, but only when Shadow gives them permission to have fun with prisoners that are miss behaving. So the fact that a guard laughing either meant that it will have fun breaking you, broke you already, or something else. Shadow is the one that brought them here.

Well, that can only mean that the magic blockers affects my aura reading skills as well or that the uniform has an anti-magic protection of some sort. I would expect that. Some aura readers could trace up till finding those who guarded them to have revenge. I would understand if precautions were made. I usually trust my aura reads, though. But It's only a sense and all the senses can be tricked. But anyway. Should the door get opened? Otherwise, I can't follow you. And don't worry about calling the security to escort me. A simple order and I will do as you wish. And after all, I can't even bite. I have a muzzle on me. I guess teasing is all that's left for me to do.

Nightmare almost jumped, a creature wants to do her bidding. She casted that thought out and said,

"The cell door open automatically when it's time to eat."

As if on cue, a buzzer went off, guards came into the room, and the doors swung open.

He started laughing. Ang clacked his teeth few times to give his words an additional effect.

 

What an opportunity for escape. Such a shame that I'm too lazy for that. 

 

He dramatically lifted his hoof to make a step forward but fell on the blanket on the floor as if mortally exhausted.

Hooligan walks closer to Doc with a grin on his face, "I'm really sorry for what I'm about to do but I need to get into big trouble. I hope you understand" Hooligan raises the knife and just as he's about to plunge down, he drops the knife and kicks Doc in the balls. "I'd put some Ice on that" he runs out of the infirmary, "same time tomorrow," he shouts back.

Redwood heard some commotion coming from the infirmary and turned to see Hooligan running away. She couldn't help but have a slight grin spread across her face.

 

Redwood ran after Hooligan, tackling him and putting him in a chokehold.

Nightmare walked over and levitated Missklang on her back. She said as she walked out of the cell,

"Sorry, no ponies for you. You are officially on a pony-free diet. There are hayburgers that you can have, or, if ya want meat, you could ask Shadow."

"Hello again sweet cheeks," Hooligan says with huge grin, "long time no see." Hooligan laughs amazed at how quick his plan worked. He stopped laughing as he admired the skill of the choke hold he was in, he looked up at Redwood. "You can probably take me back to my cell now "

"Hold on, ah ain't totally done with y'all yet," Redwood said before she punched Hooligan in the face. "Alright, now ah'll take y'all back."

 

She picked him up and slung him over her shoulder, then picked up the cup she had given him. Seeing as how Hooligan was practically letting her do this, she decided to not let it go totally without thanks.

Missklang let out a small gasp of joy when he was levitated. On the passage, he showed his tongue to the guards.

 

Hayburgers? Is that the thing ponies eat? Huh. I only wonder if it has hay in it... I make all my food out of poison jokes. Because I can. It gives me my chaosy magic! But it's too much honor for me,to be carried, your majesty. I am gratefull. Hmm. I wonder what other crazy ponies there are in here. Is there a Discord statue in the yard? I wonder how well this place is protected. Hmmm. I wonder if I will be able to escape with no casualties, hehehe.

"Try it, you might like it. There isn't a discord statue here. Shadow wanted to put Discord in here to get better, but he was beaten to it. He's searching for any others on his free time, but came up with nothing. You wouldn't get to the main gate without the guards killing you."

Shadow wanted for Discord to get better or himself? Well, there is enough chaos here already. No need for Discord to get involved. 

 

He grabbed a burger and stared at it.

 

It's ironic isn't it? Giving me food when I can't eat it... I guess I have to remove the muzzle then.

 

He took off his muzzle with ease and bite the burger.

 

What? They put a dog muzzle on me. It's pretty easy to remove when you are a part of intelligent species... Funny heh? The hay burger is hay between two slices of bread. And bread is made of wheat. And this hay is wheat too. So it's hay between two slices of hay. However about the escape part. It's funny. Why does everyone expect me to die from physical attacks? After all, Discord is immune to those as well. I thought they would realise that after I jumped out the window of the Canterlot castle. Long fall that were. Till the very bottom of the mountain. Took two months to recover, though. Not a pleasant experience... But whatever. As I play by the rules I would let them poke me with their sticks.

Hooligan smiled as he was put onto Redwood's back. He looked around and the room began to spin, it seemed like the wack to the head had caused him a small concussion or something. Hooligan giggled and looked at Redwood. "You're purdy (pretty)," he said, still under the effects of the smack to the face.

She doubted Hooligan could even walk on his own. Redwood had hit him fairly hard, and had no doubt disoriented him to some degree. It seemed just a bit odd though, even for Hooligan, to be calling her pretty.
