The Guard got off and went to the gate. When he got there, he closed it and went to the bathroom to stop the bleeding.

The lights came back but were dull compared to the previous ones

 

A Scientist and Guard came in and said to Kyubi as the water drained and the tube lowered, 

"We have a test for you. It might be the last."

Kyubi looked at the scientist and gave a slight nod. "Ok. What do you need?" She asked. The bat pony was a bit wary of what they would do with her afterwards, but decided to simply play along.

 

The dragon sighed as he walked through the halls of the facility. He hadn't seen Gale since he left her, so he assumed that she was still with that guard. "Going back now would be to risky. I have to think this through." He thought to himself.

Gale opened her eyes as soon as the guard had left and noticed that the gate into the enclosure was shut. "He'll probably come back to get me in a bit." She thought to herself. The dragoness didn't really know what else she could do at this point and simply sat there.

The other guard started shooting at Orion

The guard sat up and said as he kept his finger in,

"I was going to threaten you with it, but you headbutted me and I had to hold on. I think you broke my nose."

His blood dripped down him and onto Gales back.

The room was all blue, and no other colors,

"Hmm, this is interesting." Damien said to himself as he walked through the room. "So if this is heat vision, that means that I'm the only one here. Darn! I guess I'll go see the others and help out the 'subject 10' those guards mentioned." He got back into the elevator from earlier and went back down to BF 3.

"The last test is to see how you do in the dark, without sound."

The guard came back with his nose clogged his tissue, opened the door, and said as he stood in front of it,

"Let's do something about those holes.

Kyubi nodded slightly, but was curious s to how the scientist would make it so that there was no sound in whatever room she would be tested in. The bat pony then waited to be escorted to the next room. "I wonder how the others are doing." She thought to herself.

 

 

Orion entered what looked like a containment room and slumped against the wall. His leg hurt, but he could see a exit wound.

Gale looked at the guard and nodded slightly. "Hopefully I escape while he takes me to a medical room." She thought to herself. The dragoness then stood and approached the guard, trying to think of a way to knock him out while limiting the chance of the same happening to her. "Yeah, that would be nice." She said.

The elevator stopped abruptly and the lights went out

 

"Well that's just great! Now I'm stuck inside an elevator and I can't fly!" Damien looked around to check his options. "Well, I can remove that roof panel, but I can't fly out." Then he knew what to do. He removed the panel and fired a beam of energy at the elevator floor, the force of which propelled him up and through the opening in the roof. When he was on top of the elevator, the door to BF 2 was right in front of him. He blasted the door with a beam of magical energy and it was smashed down. "Guess I'll have to take the stairs..."

The scientist lead Kyubi to  a room at was padded with foam spikes except the floor and a camera. The scientist said as he stepped into the room,

"This room was designed to disorient bats. Depending on where sonar or echo hits in this room it could cancel it out or make it ricochet around the whole room until the room is filled with it."

He opened the door and as they walked he placed his finger on the whole but not in it and said,

"Just in case you try to run."

A sign to the right said,

"Broken Sprinklers."

The hallways were filled with the sound of water hitting the ground almost as if it was raining inside the building.

"This room was designed to disorient bats. Depending on where sonar or echo hits in this room it could cancel it out or make it ricochet around the whole room until the room is filled with it."

The rain like sound did cause Damien to relax, but not like you would think. The peaceful sound cleared his mind, made it easier to think and helped him focus. He stepped under the sprinklers and felt the water wash over him. "*sigh* If only I could just stay here for a while. But no, I can't. I have to get myself out of here. And the others too, they deserve freedom just as much as me." He eventually found the stairs and descended to BF 3.

Gale rolled her eyes and was honestly mad at herself for not accounting for the fact that the guard would find some way to cause her pain if she tried to run. The dragoness then gave a slight nod as she walked forwards. "I won't try anything." She muttered.

Kyubi nodded slightly and walked forwards. To be quite honest, she could only assume that the guards knew about the fact that she used echolocation. Otherwise, they wouldn't have put her in a room designed in such a way. Of course, as a result of echolocation not working, the bat pony had to go off of touch, and the wasn't as effective. This caused her to hit several of the foam spikes as she progressed through the room.

The scientist walked out and said,

"We'll be back in a few minutes."

They walked to the medical center and when they got there, the guard said as he closed the door, 

"Could you get on the table with the whole facing up. I need to inject something in you before I can close it."

Kyubi felt frustrated as she kept running into the foam spikes. She noticed that the scientist had left, but didn't really pay attention to that. What was the point of any of this? If they knew she was blind and put her in a room where she couldn't use echolocation, then they could probably guess what would happen.

 

Orion sighed as he stood and walked out of the room. At this point, he knew that something was probably wrong with Gale and needed to find her. It was probably because she was the only dragon he had seen in years, but he was somewhat drawn to her.

Gale gave the guard a suspicious gaze, before nodding. The dragoness then got on to the table and rested on her side so that the hole was easily accessible. She didn't even want to know what he was going to inject into her and stared at the wall. "To be honest, my neck doesn't really hurt." She said, somewhat afraid.

The scientist walked into the room next door and watched to see how Kyubi will react to being officially blind,

The guard said as he strapped Gale to the table and pulled out a syringe,

 "This will hurt, it's to relax you take you won't feel a thing, but you will be unable to run or fly for a bit.

Gale didn't really know how to react to being strapped down to a table, but tried to calm herself. She then looked at the syringe, before giving a slight nod. "Ok. I'm ready." She said, before closing her eyes. The dragoness then began to think about the last bit the guard had said and realized something. If she couldn't fly or run, it would make her that much easier to recapture. Granted, it was only temporary.

Eventually, Kyubi got fed up with bumping into the foam spikes and tried to use echolocation. Of course, that didn't work out and the fact that the sound ricocheted all over the room disoriented her to the point of falli down. The bat pony then groaned in frustration as she stood and simply began to run through the room. She didn't care at this point if she hit anything.

 

Orion returned to the entrance of his enclousre and began to sniff around, trying to get Gale's scent. "Where is she?" He thought to himself.

The guard said as he pushed the needle into the skin, 

"I forgot to mention that differs for everyone."

After the thing was empty, he pulled the punctured scales out  and started replacing them

The scientist checked the clock to see how long has past and decided to wait a little longer.

Gale winced in pain as the needle enter her skin and could feel it deposit something into her blood stream. The guard wasn't lying when he said she wouldn't be able to feel whatever he did to her injury. Aside from the numbing, a strange feeling then began to spread her, like a warm heat that started from her head and moved down her body. The dragoness then began to give low pants as her scales became wet, common signs of a fever.

Kyubi eventually came to a stop and leaned against the wall, exhausted from running. The bat pony then sighed as she sat on the ground and tried to slow her breathing. "Hopefully we're done with the test." She thought to herself, before getting back up. The bat pony then began to walk around the room to burn time as she waited for the scientist to retrieve her.

The guard finished replacing the scales and said as he started taking off the strap and noticing that Gale was sweating, 
"Alright, I'm done. Don't try to run or fly, you're weak from it and you could pass out or puke. Do you need water?

A voice came on and said without echoing

"How is it in there?"

Kyubi looked at as soon as she heard the voice. "It's annoying to say the least." She said. "When am I getting out of here?" The bat pony was about to ask when she was going home after the test, but something told her that that wasn't a good idea at the time.

 

Orion growled in frustration when he discovered that Gale's scent was gone. The dragon then simply began to walk around the facility, looking for any of other test subjects.

Gale glanced at the guard and noticed the current state of her body. The dragoness didn't want to admit that she could use something to drink, but she had no idea how long this would last. The dragoness then gave a slight nod before setting all four feet on the floor. "So, what now?"

"Why are all the floors below BF 2 flooded? Do they even know about this? Oh well, guess I'll try and get back to the others." He then ascended a few flights of stairs and wound up on the floor he'd started at. "Alright then, where is everypony?" He then used the heat-vision goggles and started looking around since all the lights were out.
