A Good Video Editor Program?

I need is a theme video for my abridged series. I have it all planned out, but the program I use has a crap preview system and is hard to work on (or else I wouldn't be asking for help). I can send the clips, timeline, and other photos and audio, I just want someone to do the work for me.

What do you get of it? I'll add you to the credit list for theme video manager (fancy title :3). Also, you can be part of the "team"... Yeah.

Anyways, if you can help, please PM me! :D

I am just checking to see if there is anyone with a program and time now...

EDIT: I have a program now, you can post anything that hasn't been suggested for other peeps though!

Is it a long video? I could give it a shot during my free time. :)

:o Really? That'd be great! :D It's only 1:36 (music length, fade out can be added if desired :P) long. If you can do this, that'd be so awesome!

But does 1:36 sound too long for you to do? If so, I can maybe ask someone else. Also, if you say sure, I'd like to know an estimation of when you think you might be done. The most complicated thing will be putting 4 scenes on one screen.

A free video editing program I enjoy using is Davinchi Resolve 12.5

It's free to download and comes great editing tools for video editing, color, and audio.

In my opinion I think it's on track to being equivalent to premier pro cc.

But I'd give it a try

Oh wow thx. I actually got Sony Vegas already now, it's really good and dynamic. I also have have the latest version of Photoshop, which comes with frame by frame editing tools for videos, so I should be good. I'll check the others out if I get stuck.

I also made a series of 5 videos outlining everything you'll need to know to make quality videos in Sony Vegas Pro 13. Check out this playlist!

For many years I had used Windows Live Movie Maker. Its a great place to start, but if you really wanna kick it up a notch, but not have an overly confusing software I'd go with Camtasia 9. Its rather expensive costing $200, but after making two videos there opposed to Windows Live Movie Maker I'd say its worth every penny. It says its meant for businesses, but don't let that turn you away I use it as a YouTube Gamer, and its amazing.

I would say Sony Vegas as well. I used to make Youtube Poop videos back in the day (a type of ridiculous remix video), and that's usually what I used.

I couldn't help though, as it's been a few years since I used it.

Well undoubtedly Sony Vegas is the best video editor program available to the public as once you learn how to use it you can actually do absolutely anything with it. I do know how to use Adobe Premier as my school has it on their computers. But I will probably learn how to use Sony Vegas next year as the school is planning to buy it for next year. I'm probably going to try and create YouTube poop videos if I can!!! :)

Adobe Premiere Pro:

:) Great features, easy to understand, works with almost every multimedia file format

:( Can only be purchased through Adobe Creative Cloud's $50/monthly subscription

iMovie:

:) Cheap (just $6), easy to use, great built-in filters/effects

:( Works only on an Apple device (iPhone/iPad/Mac), rendering issues, limited library

Final Cut Pro X:

:) Great features, easy to understand, works with almost every multimedia file format, green screen and color grading included, third-party plugins available

:( Expensive ($300+), frequent bugs and program crashing after recent updates, works only on Mac

Cyberlink PowerDirector:

:) Moderate price ($100), built-in effects

:( Rendering issues, limited effects library, works with Windows only

Sony Vegas:

:) Great features, easy to understand, works with almost every multimedia file format, pro color grading and green screen enabled

:( Expensive ($300+), hard to find in local stores

Right, yeah. I'm just saying that it's not the best option.

Yep, I just don't like to cause big arguements.

Anyways, it's pretty limited if you cannot spend much.
