KillerKingBakudan 702 July 23, 2018 Share July 23, 2018 Old-school, arcade style beat em ups. Namely, Alien vs. Predator, The Punisher, and Streets of Rage. Any Street Fighter game except SF1, along with Capcom vs. SNK 2. You just can't beat a good fighting game. Any Hitman game except Absolution. Because I love having the freedom to kill everybody. Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Same reason as above. I love playing the good guy like a psychotic asshole.

Shadowfax 68 July 25, 2018 Share July 25, 2018 Honestly, one game I come back to every so often is DOOM 2. It's not the game I've spent the most time in. However, it is the the game I have the longest history with, as I find myself coming back and marathoning it every few months. I know what you're thinking. "Huh, but isn't that game only 4 hours long?" Yes, it is, but what keeps it alive for me is it's modding community. Yes, it has a modding community; it's been around ever since the first DOOM. Thriving, though niche, the community creates loads of mods for DOOM 2, spanning anything from goofy stuff, hardcore map packs, reworks, story driven mods, and so forth. Compiling onto this is its simple gameplay. Fast paced, and challenging under the right circumstances, the core mechanics have always been appealing to me. Unsurprisingly, DOOM 2 is relatively easy to mod, so others have tinkered with the core mechanics and made new mechanics, or enhanced the existing ones. It's a blast to play, and it's always exciting to come back to it and see what more the community has made.
Iam 525 July 25, 2018 Share July 25, 2018 (edited) As a yong person born in 2001, I now often return to Zuma Deluxe: and Trackmania Forever: Those 2 dexterity games are just my favourite and depend only at your reflexes, perception and skills. No upgrades of the frog or car, only skill. Edited July 25, 2018 by Iam *typos*

Pretty much this, though I would be inclined to sub Mario with TF2 now that I can play them. Also because I've found myself less and less interested in playing Mario titles.
