Okay, seriously. We have a shitload of staff announcements to make, and we took a pretty big hit in losing one today, so we decided it best to do one big announcement. So first the good.

 

Fluttershy   - @@SFyr - After meeting him, it seems apt. He didn't talk much, he's a pretty cool dude. SFyr is joining his roommate Nervous Stitch in Octavia's Hall as a sectional staffer!

Rainbow Dash   - @@PiratePony - I don't know him that well yet, and Dashie is much more of a showboat. Just go with it. (Yes, I'm aware his favorite it Rarity!) He'll be joining Pathfinder in FIM section!

Applejack  - @@Dark Horse - Steadfast and sure, Dark Horse has been promoted to Global Mod with a focus on Beyond Equestria!

Pinkie Pie   - @@Randimaxis - Always a jokester, but an amazing guy to talk to, and fun to bounce obscure media references off of, Randi has been promoted to Global mod with a focus on Roleplay!

Rarity   - @@Nervous Stitch - We've compared her to Rarity before, but it seems a more apt likeness than ever! Taking over the team lead spot, Stitch has epitomized what we've been looking for in a mod since day 1. She's our Octavia's Hall Team Lead!

Twilight Sparkle    - @@Eloquence In the past we've likened her to Fluttershy, but she's opened up so much since joining the team, and really I couldn't be prouder of her. She was quite shy when she joined, but damn it if she doesn't tousle with the best of them now! She's now our Roleplay Team Lead!

 

For a bit of bad news - @@Jeric has stepped down. We knew it was coming, as it looks like he will soon be Dr. Jeric. However, he had to do so early due to some family issues. He's done this community an incredibly service, and is an incredible friend to many, including myself. Initially @@Fhaolan was promoted to take Jeric's place, then we found four community admins was a really nice number. And so, for the Derpy part of our announcement...

Hey there. First off, congrats to all the guys who went up. Especially to my good friend Dark Horse. Maybe he gives me special privileges now.

 

But the leaving of Jeric kinda hits me hard. He is probably the nicest guy on the Forums and probably a nicer guy i could ever be. He was here since i came here and he was always approachable and always ready to talk about problems. But i can understand why he is doing it.

When I first started coming to this site, I was just some random weirdo who hid in the corner and did 'the RolePlay Thing'.  But over time, I developed a few friendships that kept me coming back time and again, seeking the sweet, sweet reward of seeing those little red squares at the top of my sticky bar...

 

Now, here it is, much longer than I actually expected to stay... and not only am I still here, but I find myself surrounded by the largest group of people I have ever known who really like me and enjoy my company }(si ti sa hcus){ and I am as thrilled to entertain you all as you all are to laugh.  It does my heart, my spirit and my mind good to know that there are so many kind folks here who enjoy my company }(elims a htiw em etarelot tsael ta ro){ and value me not only as a person, but also as a friend.
