Is it weird that the McDonalds FIM toys were actually quality?

I own a few, and they're not bad. No connection lines, nice paint, overall pretty nice. Does anyone think that's a little odd? What incentive does McDonalds have to make quality FIM toys?

I've too notice that. In their recent released MLP toys, I was astonished at the quality. To answer your second question, it would probably be to increase collectibility and maybe to raise hype for the upcoming movies.

It's always hit or miss on McDonalds toys. The beanie baby ones were really good!

I was also amazed. My only complaints were that the 2016 Rainbow Dash looks a little weird in the eyes, and the 2015 Apple Jack has an odd looking face. Other than. That, I absolutely love them. Especially the newest Pinkie.
