The only thing is, you have to travel to an estate to claim the money. The estate is high in the hill tops of Canterlot in a mansion that was owned by the late Mr. Body. He was quite the figure in Canterlot and all across Equestria. He made very charitable donations to many different organizations. Dear __________, It is with deep sorrow that I am writing to inform you about the death of Mr. Body. His will stated that you are aire to his estate, please come to the manner at once. The lawyers are ready with the paperwork that needs to be signed within the week. Kindest regards, Stardust Do you go and see if everything is up to snuff? Do you instantly pack your bags and on the next train to Canterlot? ___________________________________________________________________ My idea is to basically follow the game of Clue and have everypony that is involved be a part of finding clues and figuring out "who done it?" I would like to have six participants aside from me. I will be playing the hostess and I will be leaving you clues to follow as the story progresses. I would also like to include giving the clues via Private Message so as the other's won't have it so easy. I will try to lay out scenes in as much detail as possible but you will have to ask each other for clues, you will all have your identities a secret from each other as to who the murder is and who was the victim. No pony will be killed off, think of this as just a fun murder mystery dinner party. We will all have our roles and we will have to do our best to figure out the murderer. Dun, dun, dun! Sound fun?! But the backstories of the ponies and everything will be public information. Just like the actual game you have the envelope with the murderer, weapon, and place, and the only person who knows who it is, is the person holding it. I do think that an OC profile has to be made just to be kinda legit. and for the other RPers can look at it and get a sense of who your pony is. I want to try and keep it to one OC per person simply because it can get pretty chaotic trying to do more than one, and people get burnt out too quickly having to deal with that type of situation. I have been thinking about putting the actual RP thread in the Advanced RP section to help keep this going and getting people that will keep up with posting and if not then we can find replacements. I just want to actually see a RP from start to finish... (has yet to happen lol) And I think that if we have it in the Advanced area we may have a fighting chance to keep it there. Just let me know where the OC's profile can be put. *already has a character in mind* If you look further down in the Role Play section you will find the Character Database, if you input your information there for your character it will be approved and then you can use it as your OC. Please post again when you have completed that and I can see if your OC will fit. And I've not done an RP in a pre-made world/story/etc in a long long time. So, this will be fun.
