The Ponyville Comedy Festival

It was 9:30 Pm on a Saturday night and Ponies from all ovewr Ponyville had gather in the town hall to watch the first ever Ponyville Comedy Festival. The hall was pack with at least a hundred or more ponies, all eager to laugh themselves silly at tonights show.

 

Meanwhile back stage the comedians were preparing to go on. "Show is starting in five minutes," said a stage hand holding a clip board, "the order will be; Dapper Charmer, Randi Maxis, Flamestreak, Laugh Track, Priestess and finally Dapper Charmer again." The stage hand then left the stage and left the comedians to finish preparing.

Laugh Track was ready. His hair was unkempt, his tie was loosely tied, and he had the slightest smell of alcohol on his breath. Of course, he also had his standup routine together, and that was really all he needed. Laugh Track was fourth up, so he just needed to wait and watch for now.

Grape jelly.

 

It wasn't so much as the color... as it was the texture of the stuff.  Strawberry was too chunky; Peach, far too smooth.  Besides, Peach Jelly was a waste - it was SO much better as preserves, anyway.

 

But that was Peaches for you; millions of peaches, peaches for free.

 

United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Haiti, Jamaica, Peru... Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean, Greenland, El Salvador too... Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guyana and still... Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina, and Equador, Chile, Brazil... Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Bermuda, Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan... Paraguay, Uruguay, Suriname, and French Guiana, Barbados and Guam...

 

Okay, now that all the random thoughts are out of the way, I'm ready.

 

Randi opened his eyes, looked around... and smiled.  

 

This would be fun.
