I was trying to take a picture of a painting with my phone, which despite its endless useless bells and whistles, has no flash for the camera. So I tried taking a picture, sans flash, with all manner of exterior light sources; outdoor sunlight, indoor incandescent, florescent, direct, indirect light and combos. Every time I came close to getting the light and color I wanted, the camera on the phone (against my wishes) switched filters and ruined it before I could snap a pic. After a while it got so damned frustrating I revisited some of my old catalog of swear words…over and over and over again.

I was really upset because I was scheduled to work on my birthday next week, even though I requested off ahead of time...but at least it's not too long of a shift.
