I'd like to also take a minute to talk about the Metroid Prime Trilogy; a fantastic set of games which if you haven't played yet... You need to do yourself a favor and play them.

There have been rumors of another Prime Trilogy coming. I wouldn’t mind it, even if it’s just to play Prime 1. That game isn’t good shit, it’s THE good shit  :mlp_icwudt:

Rumors of a remaster are floating around.

I used to be able to do an enitre playthrough Sonic 2 at least three times a week. I would ask my friend to come over and she would help me by playing as Tails (yes, you can do that if you have a separate controller). I played the game so much that I used to be an pro at it.

I actually remember discovering that the first time as a kid. Like my brother plugged in another controller and I was like "wwwwwwwwaaaaaat!?"

You should see my basement. PC big boxes from a bygone golden age. I collect retro stuff, mainly for PC. Need some hardware to play it on tho...

Old PC hardware is the trickiest because a lot of it you either need to put together yourself, or people did NOT take care of PC hardware very well back in the day (they still kind of don't). And naturally... Old PCs take up space.

You have to be selective with old PC hardware. If you get it complete in the box, usually a good chance it will be functional and well cared for. Some repairs are easier than others, but you gotta be careful.

Sadly for me I have a limited space issue.

I got the AD&D Gold Box games from GoG. I played Eye Of The Beholder and used the guide. I also hacked the save file and maxed my characters and gave them items. The game is kind of dull and unfair.

Mmm, EotB :)

Played that when it first came out ..in 4 colour CGA :D Similar to yourself, used a DOS hex editor to manipulate the games files. Had to do it the hard way to work out what went where in terms of name/stats/items - pre-internet so no FAQs to use and nowhere to post my hard work to :)
