Anyone else not much of a shipper?

Plenty of shipping art is cute, but I don't really care about any non-canon pairings very much. I don't put any thought into which ponies should be together.

 

Because of White Diamonds' amazing artwork of the shipping, Rarijack is the only one I'm sorta into.

I only ship like one or two pairs, but I hope that none of them become canon.  I like the cute art that comes with shipping but I think it's better as a fandom-only type thing.  So I'm in the same ship boat as you, I'm not a big shipper either

Really odd you say that. For the longest time I wasn't a shipper either, but WD slowly eroded my defenses.

I became a Rarifan within a two months of actually becoming a fan and within a month of joining the forum. Took over a year of WD's art before I said ... yeah you won.

I don't really ship either. To me anyway, most of them just seem illogical and purely meant for a bit of entertainment on the side. I really only ship Lyra and BonBon, and which is more or less a canon relationship.

 

I haven't read the shipping rulebooks in a while, so I'm not sure that even counts.

I tend to ship a lot of characters in other fandom, but when it comes to ponies, I can't find myself shipping them a whole lot. I'm more concerned with what the show itself has to offer than how I personally feel about two characters. But I have nothing wrong with others shipping ponies as long as they don't take it too seriously.

I never considered "shipping" to be a big thing, I always thought it was just the initial "oh those 2 would seem cute together" thought and that was it.

Nah. I've never been a big fan of much shipping. I know I have a Soarin Dash avatar, but I think that's the only ship that I know of that makes sense.

I don't think I am a huge shipper, but I don't have problems with many, except plain terrible ones (and SoarinDash, they don't go together, but that's my opinion). I still like a few though, at least FlutterDash. There is no ship better than FlutterDash. *Hides*

 

It's not impossible for me to become more of a shipper.

I don't ship much, because I got too involved in a ship war the last time I shipped. And I never have any interest in that stuff. At the moment, my only ship is TwiilightGlimmer.

Me neither. The fandom is free to partake on it, but leave the shipping to yourselves and not bash others for not following either the shipping you like, or the whole thing altogether 

 

The only shipping I do is pony Twi and human Flashy, because it pisses the fandom

Pretty much this. I mean, sometimes I'll casually ship members here just for fun, but when it comes to show characters...meh. Never really found the appeal to it.

The writing in the fanfic depends on my shipping if anything on how they roll it out and the plot.  I can ship Discord/Twilight and Discord/Fluttershy but I can also see them in just a deep friendship.

I don't ship any pairs in MLP, not really. I suppose I kind of like Soarin and Rainbow Dash stuff, and I find plenty of ships and art cute, but I'm not personally too interested in non-canon relationships. I do have quite a few episodes to catch up on, though, so my opinion may change later - who knows? 

The same can be said regarding most of the fandoms I'm in, though; there are only one or two couples I properly ship in other media, too.
